Hit the jackpot with a camper rental in Reno. The Biggest Little City in the World is one of Nevada's premier vacation destinations, thanks to its classy casinos, top-rated resorts, and endless sunshine. But Reno isn't all about bright lights and gambling. The Sierra Nevada foothills and breathtaking Lake Tahoe are just outside the city, making Reno a superb spot for an outdoor adventure.
Campers considering a road trip to Reno should book during the spring, when temperatures stay in the high 70s, ideal for hiking up the Sierra Nevada Mountains. There are also some fun events during spring, like the Reno Jazz Festival and the Reno River Festival. Keep an ace in the hole on your next road trip with an overnight stay in Reno.

Planning on visiting Reno's top attractions? Reno is a pretty RV-friendly city, so you shouldn't have much trouble getting from A to B. There's rarely a traffic jam on the south side of the city, and while the north side can be worse, it's still better than most major cities in the US. You'll also find many campgrounds located at casinos near downtown, where you can park your RV.
If you fancy spending a day away from the casinos, check out the National Automobile Museum. The museum is home to over 200 classic automobiles, many of which once belonged to celebrities. Highlights include Elvis Presley's 1971 Cadillac, JFK's 1962 Lincoln Continental, and John Wayne’s 1953 Corvette. Another excursion that's sure to please your whole crew is Animal Ark. This wildlife sanctuary features an array of native and exotic rescues, including jaguars, porcupines, and gray wolves.
You shouldn't miss out on exploring the great outdoors during your Reno trailer rental, and one of the best parks to visit is Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park. The park is split into several areas on the northeastern shores of Lake Tahoe, covering around 14,000 acres. If you're looking to make a splash, visit the beautiful beach at Sand Harbor or plan a backcountry hike at Spooner Lake. There are also boat ramps at each of the park's areas in case you fancy sailing around Lake Tahoe.

Reno RV campgrounds are ideal for high rollers, with many of the city's campgrounds adjacent to casinos. Located just five miles from downtown, The Sparks Marina RV Park is one of the best campgrounds in Reno. You'll find over 200 pull-through sites with full hookups and 30- and 50-amp electricity. You also get your own patio area. You won't be short of activities around camp, with a mini-golf course, swimming pool, and water sport opportunities at Sparks Marina Park Lake. The camp also has some added extras to make you feel at home, including a dog run, free Wi-Fi, and a grocery store.
Slightly further from the city is the highly-rated Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort. This well-equipped RV park boasts pull-through sites with full hookups that supply 20/30/50-amp electricity. When you're not in the casino, soak up the sun poolside or relax in the clubhouse. Pets are welcome, and there's an on-site dog park where your pup can roam off-leash. Useful amenities include laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, and several on-site eateries.
Or, head 15 miles from the city to the Cali state line and stay at the Bordertown RV Resort. Campers can park up at one of 50 paved sites that provide full hookups and 30- and 50-amp electricity, with the Sierra Nevada Mountains as a backdrop. Spend your time at the slots in the on-site casino before grabbing dinner at one of two restaurants. Amenities include laundry facilities, restrooms, and Wi-Fi access.
