RV had some damage from prior renters, this did not affect our trip at all because we weren’t going to use the damaged shade in Nov. RV was nice, but a really rough ride, felt every crack and bump on the freeway. It’s also a gas hog. Bed was surprisingly comfy. Interior was nice. Lots of warm quilts and lots of pillows which was great. Vladmir was a pleasant host and was flexible and fair.

My wife and I have had an RV for nearly 50 years. We are looking to downsize to a drivable RV similar to what Marco and Gina have. Our experience with them has been outstanding. Their RV was clean and neat when we arrived. Marco was very helpful in explaining their unit to us. Other than food and our clothes everything else was supplied. I was shocked at how much storage room there was not only inside but outside. If you are thinking of renting an RV, I would not hesitate to contact Marco and Gina for their RV.

The rig was just perfect and so easy to pull and set up. The solar and generator was a real game changer and made dry camping a super experience. Cosy bed and all the appliances worked well. Zach was a pleasure to work with and was super responsive when needed. We will rent the RV again, can’t wait.

Gina and Marco were wonderful! Very clean, and the power we needed to get thru the mountains. A little tight for 4 people, but we were cozy, and only used to sleep in. All in all , a great Experience!

Linda was great with all the process. Her trailer was exactly what we needed for our 3 week, 7 States road trio. Thank you for a great experience. I would definitely recommend he and her trailer.

Linda's trailer was perfect for the two of us. We were glad to have it in the rain and chilly mornings. She was super responsive and helpful too. It's a great trailer to tow as well. Thank you Linda!

Most first-time RV renters are surprised how simple it is.

Can the RV be delivered in Sacramento or to nearby campgrounds?

Delivery is a huge convenience for RV rental in Sacramento! Many owners will bring the camper or motorhome right to your house, campground, or special event, and even set it up for you. Just filter listings by 'Delivery Included.' This is perfect for first-timers, families, or anyone who would rather skip city driving. Try delivery to Folsom Lake or your favorite music festival.

How far can I drive my rental RV from Sacramento?

You are set for adventure. Motorhome rental Sacramento listings typically include generous daily mileage, letting you reach top destinations like Lake Tahoe (about 100 miles), Yosemite (roughly 170 miles), or Napa Valley (60 miles) without worry. Planning a bigger California RV road trip? Check the mileage policy on your listing before booking, and ask about unlimited mileage if you want to roam far and wide.

Where can I park or camp with my RV in Sacramento?

Sacramento is packed with camping options! Top choices include Sacramento Shade RV Park (close to downtown with full hookups), Rancho Seco Recreation Area (lakefront camping, about 25 miles south), Folsom Lake State Recreation Area (beach camping, hiking, and lake access), or Cal Expo RV Park (steps from the American River bike trail). Book popular sites early because Sacramento is a busy hub year-round.

What's the best time of year to rent an RV in Sacramento?

Spring and fall are truly ideal for an RV rental Sacramento adventure. Expect daytime highs in the 70s and 80s F (21 to 28 C) and cool, comfy nights. For outdoor fun, try April through June or September through early November when everything is green and campgrounds are less crowded.

Is Sacramento a good place for first-time RV renters?

It is a fantastic spot for your first time renting an RV! Hosts in Sacramento give personalized walkthroughs when you pick up or receive your campervan rental, and you can always message with questions before booking. City streets are wide, highways are RV-friendly, and with delivery available, you do not have to tackle downtown driving if you would rather not. Confidence comes easy here.

What kind of roadside help is included with my Sacramento RV rental?

You are never alone on the road. Every RVezy RV rental in Sacramento includes 24/7 roadside assistance. Whether you are near the American River or halfway to Yosemite, help is just a call away for lockouts, mechanical issues, flat tires, and more. Book with confidence knowing support follows you wherever your adventure leads.

Can I take my Sacramento RV rental to other states?

Explore with confidence. Most Sacramento RV rentals let you cross state lines, so trips to Oregon, Nevada, or even the Oregon Coast are possible. Just check your listing or ask the owner about out-of-state travel before booking. Travel to Mexico is not covered, but California to Nevada road trips (like Lake Tahoe, Reno, or Carson City) are classic favorites. Note that Death Valley is a prohibited travel area under RVezy coverage.

What are average gas mileage and fuel costs for Sacramento RV trips?

Budgeting is smarter with real numbers! Most motorhomes average 8 to 12 miles per gallon, and campervans a bit higher. Local gas prices in Sacramento typically run around $4.50 to $5.50 per gallon, though prices fluctuate seasonally. Accept a bit of extra fuel use for those epic RV road trips from Sacramento, and consider mapping your gas stops for savings.

How far ahead should I book campgrounds near Sacramento?

For peace of mind, book campgrounds like Folsom Lake SRA or Cal Expo RV Park at least 2 to 3 months in advance, especially for spring, summer, and holiday weekends. Use ReserveCalifornia.com for California State Parks or call regional parks directly for reservations. Pro tip: midweek stays are easier to snag, and some parks open up last-minute spots if you are flexible.

What's urban RV driving like in Sacramento? Any routes to avoid?

You will find Sacramento's roads wide and RV-friendly, with little elevation and few tight turns. Avoid rush hour on I-5 and downtown corridors between 7 to 9 am and 4 to 6 pm for smoother cruising. Height clearances are well-marked, but stay off J Street and Old Sacramento's cobblestones with big rigs. Delivery is the stress-free way for motorhome rental Sacramento first-timers!

What amenities and hookups do RV campgrounds near Sacramento offer?

You will enjoy modern campgrounds with full hookups, Wi-Fi, hot showers, and laundry. Sacramento Shade RV Park and Cal Expo RV Park both deliver extra comfort. Always check amenities before booking and plan for occasional dry camping at adventure locations.

What features come with Sacramento RV rentals?

Expect real comfort! Most Sacramento RV rentals feature air conditioning, a full kitchen, private bathroom, microwave, fridge and freezer, comfy beds (for 2 to 8+), seatbelts for every passenger, generator, and outdoor awning. What options and add-ons can I choose for my Sacramento RV rental, and how does pickup/drop-off work?

Sacramento RV rentals offer flexible options like kitchen kits, bedding, grilling gear, bicycles, delivery, and early pickup or late return (for a fee; see the listing for details). Hosts meet you at pickup or delivery to walk through everything, so even if it is your first RV trip, you will be ready to roll. It is as hassle-free as checking into a hotel.

How does security deposit and payment work for Sacramento RV rentals?

Booking your RV rental in Sacramento is straightforward. You pay securely through RVezy at checkout, and for early bookings you can split payment into a 25% deposit with the balance due 37 days before your trip. The security deposit is a temporary hold placed on your card three days before the trip starts, not an actual charge. It is released 7 days after your trip ends, as long as no damage claim is filed. For peace of mind, always do a complete walkthrough with your host at pickup and drop-off, and take photos to document the RV condition.
