Wonderful across the board. The RV was clean, drove perfectly (mountains of Colorado and New Mexico), and was impeccably organized. They have clearly thought through all the things that might be needed on a long trip and made them easily accessible. The toilet cassette was easy to empty (particularly in a latrine -- 3-5 minutes with no mess). The refrigerator and cabinets have plenty of space and beds were comfortable. It was easy to stop and sleep overnight in parks. We were really pleased and would happily rent this RV again.

Do I need a special driver's license to rent an RV in Burbank, IL?

Good news: for nearly every RV on the RVezy platform, your regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Burbank. Approved drivers are generally 25 or older with a valid license, and RVezy verifies your ID through the platform during booking. Illinois has weight-based license classes for residents driving very large motorhomes, but the vast majority of campervans, travel trailers, and Class C motorhomes on RVezy fall well under those thresholds. What's it like driving an RV around Burbank and the Chicago area?

Burbank sits at the southwest edge of Chicago with easy access to I-294, I-55, and I-57, meaning you can skip most downtown traffic and head straight to open road. Avoid lower-clearance routes like Lower Wacker Drive and parts of Lake Shore Drive (some bridges are under 13 feet). Rush hour on I-294 around Cicero and 95th Street can crawl, so aim to roll out before 7 AM or after 10 AM. Watch for Illinois tollways (I-PASS or pay-by-plate works in your rental). Pro tip: choose RV delivery to your first campground if city driving feels intimidating.

State park campgrounds like Kankakee River have electric sites, potable water fills, and centralized dump stations. Many also offer playgrounds, fishing, and trails.
