First experience with a rental, it was so easy. The service was great from Nas. Having the RV dropped and picked up was stress of the weekend I didn't have to deal with, that was a huge plus. Kids loved it and much better sleep and conveniences than a tent. So recommend. All pro. Cons, we had a bit of an issue with the power to the rv,but with the help of Nas the host, it was resolved. Had to do with power at the site not the RV.

Tye and Taunya were amazing hosts. They both came and set everything up for us and showed us how to work everything. If we had any questions they responded right away. They have a beautiful trailer and we are very thankful we were able to rent it and had a wonderful vacation with our grandchildren. We would highly recommend contacting them if you are thinking of renting a trailer. It comes with everything you need. They are great people to deal with.

eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campground near Riverview?
For Michigan state parks like Sterling State Park, reservations open six months to the day before your arrival through MiDNRReservations.com. Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) often sell out within minutes of opening, so set a calendar reminder and have your preferred site picked out before you log in. Private campgrounds like Harbortown RV Resort and the Detroit/Greenfield KOA usually have more last-minute flexibility, often booking 4 to 8 weeks out. A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks and is easy to add at checkout when registering your vehicle or at the park gate.
midnrreservations.com/What are the local driving conditions like around Riverview?
Driving an RV around Riverview is refreshingly straightforward thanks to flat terrain, no mountain passes, and a well-maintained highway grid. I-75 runs right past town and is your gateway south to Toledo or north to Detroit and the rest of Michigan. Be cautious with the Lodge Freeway (M-10) and parts of I-696 in a tall rig during rush hour, where lower overpasses and traffic can get tight (clearances are clearly marked). Winter brings lake-effect snow and salt spray, so November through March travel calls for extra caution. Pro tip: stick to I-275 to bypass downtown Detroit on your way north, and you'll have a smooth, low-stress run with a tall vehicle.

Harbortown RV Resort in Monroe offers full hookups (water, sewer, 50-amp electric) along with WiFi at most sites. The Detroit/Greenfield KOA includes a pool, playground, and propane refill on-site. For dumping and refilling between trips, Sterling State Park's dump station is open to the public for a small fee. Pro tip: pack a 25-foot drinking water hose and a 30-to-50-amp adapter so you can hook up anywhere, even at older sites with smaller pedestals.

Class C motorhomes sleep 4 to 8 with a queen, bunk or cab-over bed, and a convertible dinette, plus a full bathroom, microwave, air conditioning, furnace, and often a TV. Most travel trailers include similar amenities minus the cab. Many hosts add generators (great for boondocking), outdoor speakers, and starter kits with linens and kitchenware. Each listing details exactly what's included, sleeping capacity, and how many seatbelts are installed, which matters for safely traveling with kids.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Riverview%2C%20MichiganWhat add-ons and pickup options should I know about?

Some hosts offer pre-stocked kitchen kits so you arrive ready to cook. Pickup is typically at the host's home or a nearby meeting spot, with delivery available for an additional fee based on distance. Mileage policies usually range from 100 to 150 free miles per night, with overage charges around $0.30 to $0.45 per mile. Pro tip: build your add-ons into the booking request so the total cost is locked in upfront, no surprises.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Riverview%2C%20MichiganHow does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
Payment is handled securely through RVezy, so you never hand cash or a card directly to the host. You pay the full trip cost at booking, and the platform releases funds to the host after your trip begins, which protects both sides. Most hosts also place a refundable security deposit hold a few days before pickup, typically $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV's value, and it's processed separately from your booking payment. As long as you return the RV in the agreed condition with the agreed mileage and fuel, the hold is released within a few days of drop-off. Pro tip: take date-stamped photos and a short video at pickup and return to keep deposit conversations crystal clear.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksWhat are the best road trip destinations from Riverview, MI?
You're perfectly positioned for an unforgettable RV road trip from Riverview. Head north on I-75 to Mackinaw City (about 290 miles) for a ferry ride to Mackinac Island, or detour to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (about 260 miles) for Lake Michigan views. Traverse City wine country sits roughly 245 miles north with vineyards and cherry orchards. Closer trips include Holland State Park (about 175 miles west) for tulip season in May, Port Huron and Lake Huron beaches (about 90 miles north), and the Irish Hills along US-12 (about 70 miles west) for vintage Americana.
