In a word - excellent. That’s how I would describe the experience with Steve and his RV. Well-appointed, very clean, and a comprehensive manual for renters. Steve (and his wife and son) were such great collaborators in general, particularly for a festival drop off that was anything but straightforward! Next May, I will be renting from Steve again if the RV is available.

Good value for the money. Rv was in good condition and ready to go on pickup. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and responsive. 9/10 would rent from again, 9 only for the purposes that we may rent a bigger rv in the future. But it reasonably accommodated 9 people for its size. We had a great trip.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is straightforward and secure. You pay through the RVezy platform with a credit or debit card, never directly to the host, which keeps everything tracked and protected under the cancellation policy. A security deposit is held separately from your booking payment (typically a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars depending on the RV) shortly before your trip and released after a successful return. To avoid any deposit issues, take date-stamped photos of the RV at pickup and return, empty the holding tanks if required, return it with the same fuel and propane levels, and do not smoke inside. Follow the host's checklist and your full deposit comes right back.

For a quick overnight on a longer trip, several Walmart locations in the greater Columbus area (including the Reynoldsburg store just minutes from Whitehall) permit free overnight RV parking, always call the store manager first to confirm. Rest areas along I-70 allow short rests but not extended overnight stays. Street parking an RV in Whitehall residential areas isn't allowed long-term, so book a campground spot ahead.
