Jacob was great to work with, the rv was great, simple to set up and operate. Everything needed to hook up water, elect, and sewer was provided, plus some. We towed with a Dodge 2500 4dr, 8’ bed Cummins diesel, towed like a dream with a straight hitch even in the west Texas winds from Arlington TX to Ruisoso NM and back. I was very happy with the RV, and the owner. 5 stars

What license do I need to rent an RV in Roanoke, TX?

A regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Roanoke, TX. Texas does not require a commercial driver's license (CDL) or special endorsement for personal RVs under 26,000 pounds, which covers virtually every motorhome and travel trailer on RVezy. You need to be at least 25 years old to be an approved driver, and RVezy verifies your ID securely through the platform during booking. Visiting from abroad? Bring your home license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) and you are set. Most first-time renters in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are surprised how simple it really is.

Is protection included when I rent an RV in Roanoke?

Yes, every RVezy booking in Roanoke includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit Highway 114 with real peace of mind. The protection plan helps cover damage to the RV during your trip, and you choose the coverage tier that fits your comfort level during checkout (hosts do not pick this for you). It is not traditional auto insurance, but it provides significant financial protection for renters. Booking is low-risk: RVezy sets the cancellation policies (not individual hosts), and there is a money-back grace period right after you book so you can lock in your dates with confidence. Refund eligibility after that depends on how far out from your trip you cancel. Because the policy is handled platform-wide, you will not see different rules on different listings. Pro tip: book early for popular weekends like the NASCAR races at Texas Motor Speedway, then relax knowing flexibility is built into your RV rental in Roanoke, TX.

I've never rented an RV before. Will I be okay in Roanoke?

You're going to do great, first time renting an RV in Roanoke is easier than people expect. Every RVezy host gives you a hands-on walkthrough at pickup, covering the generator, slides, water systems, leveling, and dump procedure, and they're a text away during your trip. Roanoke's wide suburban streets and flat North Texas terrain make for a forgiving learning curve, and Highway 114 and I-35W are straightforward for new drivers. Choose a Class C motorhome or a smaller travel trailer for your first run, and request delivery if you'd rather skip the driving entirely. Pro tip: do a short practice loop around the Alliance Town Center area before heading out.
