2019 Highland Ridge RV Travel Trailer
Kenny was great to work with on delivery, setup, and pickup. All were completely as desired. The camper was great, roomy and completely stocked with all that we needed. Only thing we encountered is that there was no antenna access for the television and the wifi at the campground was not strong enough for steaming to the TV.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Marshall, Wisconsin?

Good news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Marshall, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) exempts recreational vehicle operators from any Commercial Driver's License (CDL) requirement as long as the RV is not longer than 45 feet and not used commercially, which covers virtually every motorhome on RVezy. You'll need to be 25 or older, and RVezy verifies your ID right inside the platform during booking. Visiting from abroad? Pair your home-country license with an International Driving Permit (IDP) and you're set. Most first-time renters are surprised how simple the process is.

What is the cancellation policy for an RV rental in Marshall, WI?

Booking is low-risk: RVezy applies a standard cancellation policy across the platform (hosts do not set their own), and refund amounts scale based on how far in advance of your trip you cancel. If a host cancels, RVezy refunds the guest or provides travel credits. This flexibility matters in Wisconsin, where occasional severe summer storms or early snow can change plans. Pro tip: book early to secure the best Marshall RVs, especially around Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Packers home weekends, knowing the policy gives you room to adjust if needed.

How do payment and the security deposit work for a Marshall RV rental?

Payment is straightforward and secure. You pay through the RVezy platform with a credit or debit card, never directly to the host, which keeps every booking protected. A refundable security deposit is held separately from the booking payment before pickup; the amount shown on the listing depends on the RV type and protection plan you choose. As long as the rig comes back in the condition you received it, with no damage and no exceeded mileage or generator hours, the deposit is released after your trip. Pro tip: do a quick walk-around video with your host at pickup and drop-off, it speeds up the deposit release and prevents any surprises.

How should I prepare for cold weather on a fall or winter Marshall RV trip?

Cold-weather RVing around Marshall can be magical, just pack smart. Late October through March can see overnight lows in the teens or single digits, so book an RV with a four-season package: heated holding tanks, enclosed underbelly, and a working propane furnace. Quartzite Campground at Devil's Lake offers electric hookups for shoulder-season trips. Keep cabinet doors cracked overnight to circulate warm air around plumbing, and use RV antifreeze in drains during deep freezes. Pro tip: ask your Marshall host for a heated water hose and an extra propane tank, then plan a snowshoe day on Devil's Lake's East Bluff trail.
