For summer weekends and the early-July battle anniversary, booking several months ahead is standard. Pennsylvania state park sites at Caledonia and Pine Grove Furnace are reserved through the state's official reservation portal, which opens a rolling window up to eleven months before arrival. Gettysburg National Military Park itself does not offer RV or trailer camping; the park lists a small number of historic farmhouse rentals on Recreation.gov. When reserving, renters should match site length, hookup type, and turning radius to the specific RV, and confirm pet, generator, and campfire rules with the campground.
