Campgrounds and RV parks near Loganville, PA

Loganville sits in southern York County along the I-83 corridor, about ten miles south of the city of York and roughly forty-five minutes from Harrisburg or Baltimore. The surrounding countryside is rolling farmland and mixed hardwood forest, with the Codorus and Susquehanna watersheds providing most of the region's water-based recreation. It is a practical base for RV travelers combining Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Gettysburg, and Hanover-area attractions in one trip. Campground options within a short drive cover the full range. Indian Rock Campgrounds sits directly beside the York Heritage Rail Trail and specializes in smaller RV units, while Ben Franklin RV Park offers another private option close to town. Merry Meadows Recreation Farm, just across the Maryland line in Freeland, is a family-oriented park with a swimming pool and full hookups. For a state-park experience, Codorus State Park lies west of Loganville near Hanover, and Bainbridge Rock Quarry Campground provides a further option north along the Susquehanna. Together these give travelers a choice between full-hookup resort camping and public lakeside sites.

Codorus State Park uses the Pennsylvania State Parks and Forests reservation system. Reservations can be made online or by calling toll-free 888-PA-PARKS (888-727-2757), Monday through Saturday from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., and sites can be booked up to 11 months in advance. Stay limits are a maximum of 14 consecutive nights between Memorial Day and Labor Day, with equipment removed for 48 hours between reservations; up to 21 consecutive nights are allowed the rest of the year. Private parks handle their own bookings. Merry Meadows Recreation Farm, Indian Rock Campgrounds, and Ben Franklin RV Park take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Holiday weekends and fall-foliage weekends fill first, so lock in dates as early as possible and confirm RV length limits before arrival.
