Marvin was very communicative and set up everything needed for the rental. We were using it for family to sleep as there wasn’t enough beds or floor space for all the family. Those that stayed in it said the water and heat worked perfectly. And, the beds were very comfortable. He had many lengths of hose and extension cords available, so he was able to set it up with my very distant outlet and faucet. I would definitely rent from Marvin again.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with this camper rental from start to finish! Communication with the owner was fast, and every question we had was answered right away, which made the whole process incredibly smooth. What really stood out was the owner’s flexibility. Not only were they accommodating with the pickup time, but they even went above and beyond by picking up the camper at our house! The camper itself was spotless and clearly very well maintained. Everything was in perfect working order, and it felt like we were stepping into a brand-new unit. Our family had plenty of room to relax and sleep comfortably and the AC kept the inside very cold, even in 90+ temps outside. Towing and parking the camper was a breeze. It handled great on the road, and setup at the site was quick and easy with everything needed for full hookups (including a water filter). Our family had a great trip, thanks to this wonderful rental. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure and wouldn’t hesitate to rent this camper again. Highly, highly recommended!

Lindsey’s travel trailer was absolutely perfect. Easy to drive and maneuver with half-ton pickup, had everything inside that I imagine anyone would need, and the new queen mattress was way more comfortable than the standard ones these come with. Along with the convertible dining nook, the camper can comfortably sleep 4 adults. Also, Lindsey’s communication and responsiveness was top notch. 5 stars all around!

What's traffic like when driving out of Belmont, and are there any tricky roads I should know about?

Belmont sits between Highway 101 and Interstate 280, both of which connect quickly to San Francisco, the coast, and points south. Avoid weekday commute hours (roughly 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.) for the smoothest drive in a larger RV. Highway 92 over to Half Moon Bay includes some sharp curves, so take it slowly and use lower gears on the descent. Bay Area bridges charge tolls electronically, so check current rates and payment options through Bay Area FasTrak before you go.

Half Moon Bay State Beach offers RV-friendly sites with restrooms and dump stations but no individual hookups. Always confirm the specific amenities for your site at booking, especially if you need 30/50-amp electric or sewer service.
