⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First-Time Trailer Campers, and We’re Hooked! 🚐🏕️ We had never stayed in a trailer before, let alone rented one for camping, so we were definitely newbies! Thankfully, Oscar made the whole experience a breeze. His communication was fantastic, and he patiently answered all our questions (and trust me, we had plenty! 😂). He delivered the trailer right to our campsite, hooked everything up, leveled it, and gave us a thorough walkthrough of all the interior and exterior features. Basically, he took the guesswork out of camping so we could focus on having fun! The trailer was well-equipped with pots, pans, plates, and knives, although we didn’t even need to use them. Everything was ready to go! The kids especially loved the bunks, which were a huge hit. Best of all, they had such a great time that they’re already saying they’d camp in an RV again. That’s a parenting win in our book! 🙌😂 Oscar truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better first trailer-rental experience. Would we recommend Oscar? Absolutely! Would we rent from him again? You bet! We’re already looking forward to our next adventure. Looks like Oscar has officially converted our family into RV campers! 🚐❤️

What a camper and what a host!!! The camper has everything you need and want. It is impeccably clean, it is roomie and has a lot of storage. We rented it for Labor Day weekend. The family was super flexible with our delivery and pickup time and were very responsive when we had questions about the camper. Everything worked how it was explained to us. We will absolutely be renting this again for our next trip! Thank you!

Plans include 24/7 roadside assistance and coverage for accidental damage, giving you real peace of mind on the road. You can review what each tier includes before you book, so there are no surprises. help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat is RVezy's cancellation policy for Camarillo RV rentals?
RVezy uses a standardized cancellation policy that applies to every booking, so you always know where you stand before confirming your Camarillo RV rental. You typically have a short grace period right after booking to cancel for a full refund, and the refund amount after that depends on how close you are to your trip start date. If your host cancels, you are eligible for a full refund or travel credit. Review the full policy on the RVezy Help Center before booking so you can lock in your ideal RV with confidence.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog or pet on my Camarillo RV rental?

Once you arrive, stretch your dog's legs at Camarillo Grove Park or head to Leo Carrillo State Beach, one of the few Southern California beaches that allows leashed dogs in designated areas. RV camping Camarillo-style lets the whole family, paws included, enjoy the trip together.
parks.ca.gov/?page_id=616Can the RV rental be delivered to my location in Camarillo?
Yes, RV delivery in Camarillo is a popular option. Many hosts will deliver the RV directly to your driveway, campsite, or event location, then set it up and walk you through how everything works. It is an ideal choice for first-time renters or anyone who prefers not to tow or drive a large vehicle. Just apply the Delivery filter on RVezy and review each host's delivery range and fees. Delivery is especially handy for group gatherings or for stays at nearby beach campgrounds like McGrath State Beach or Point Mugu.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Camarillo%2C%20CaliforniaHow far can I travel with my Camarillo RV rental and is there a mileage limit?
Mileage policies are set per listing on RVezy, so check the details before you book your Camarillo RV rental. Popular day trips include Santa Barbara (about 35 miles), Ojai (about 25 miles), Malibu (about 30 miles), and Lake Casitas for inland fishing and paddling. Some hosts offer RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is great for a longer California RV road trip, while others include a daily allowance with a clear per-mile overage fee. Plan your route in advance so you can confidently cruise the Pacific Coast Highway.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106554-Mileage-and-generator-usageWhere can I park my RV in and around Camarillo? Any great local campgrounds?
There are excellent options for RV camping near Camarillo. Top picks include McGrath State Beach in Oxnard for oceanfront sites among the dunes, Point Mugu State Park for beachfront camping and hiking at Sycamore Canyon and Thornhill Broome, and Ventura Ranch KOA in Santa Paula for a wooded inland setting. For full hookups, Ventura Beach RV Resort is about 20 minutes away. Overnight street parking is generally restricted in Camarillo, so always reserve an official campground for a smooth, hassle-free stay.
parks.ca.gov/?page_id=607When is the best time of year for an RV trip in Camarillo?
Camarillo's mild coastal climate makes RV camping enjoyable year-round, with the sweet spots running March through June and September through November. Daytime highs typically range from the mid-60s to upper 70s F, with cool nights in the 50s. Late spring brings the local marine layer (often called June Gloom) with foggy mornings that usually burn off by midday, while summer highs rarely exceed the mid-80s. Rain is scarce outside the winter months. Shoulder season offers smaller crowds and great weather for spring wildflower hikes or summer concerts at Constitution Park.
weather.gov/lox/Is it hard to drive an RV rental in Camarillo? What support do I get as a first-timer?
Driving an RV in Camarillo is very beginner-friendly. Local streets and U.S. 101 are wide and well-maintained, and most rentals come with helpful features like backup cameras or parking sensors. Every host provides a detailed walkthrough at pickup so you understand the controls, hookups, and systems before you head out. You can also message your host directly during the trip if questions come up. Prefer to skip the driving entirely? Choose a host that offers delivery and setup, and you can step in ready to relax.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/categories/360002180034-Renting-an-RVWhat happens if I have a breakdown with my Camarillo RV rental?
Every RV rental in Camarillo booked through RVezy includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan. Whether you have a flat tire, dead battery, or need a tow, you can call for help anywhere in Ventura County or beyond. The support team will coordinate service and keep you informed, so you are never stranded, even on remote stretches of Highway 33 or near Channel Islands Harbor. Save the roadside assistance number in your phone before you depart for fast, stress-free help if you need it.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106094-Roadside-assistanceCan I take my Camarillo RV rental to another state, and can I drive into Mexico?
You can take your Camarillo RV rental across the continental United States, but always confirm cross-state travel plans with your host first since some set personal limits. Travel into Mexico is not permitted because RVezy's insurance and protection plans do not cover trips outside the US and Canada. Camarillo is a great launch point for a Pacific Coast road trip to San Diego, Big Sur, or Yosemite National Park. If you are considering a trip into Canada, message your host in advance to confirm cross-border approval.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityHow much should I budget for fuel on my Camarillo RV trip?
Expect real-world fuel economy of about 8 to 12 mpg for most motorhome rentals and 12 to 16 mpg for a tow vehicle pulling a travel trailer. Gas prices in the Camarillo area generally run higher than the national average, often in the $4.50 to $5.25 per gallon range. A round trip from Camarillo to Santa Barbara (about 70 miles) typically costs $30 to $45 in fuel for a motorhome. Save by planning efficient routes, filling up inland rather than along the coast, and using grocery fuel rewards at local Vons or Ralphs stations.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far ahead should I book a local campground for my Camarillo RV rental?
Popular campgrounds near Camarillo, including McGrath State Beach and Point Mugu State Park, fill up quickly for weekends and holidays. For summer RV camping, reserve 3 to 6 months ahead on ReserveCalifornia.com, which opens bookings up to six months out. Smaller private parks and midweek dates are often easier to grab last minute. A local tip: Ventura Ranch KOA in Santa Paula frequently has midweek availability even in peak season, making it a great backup option if state park sites are full.
reservecalifornia.com/What are driving conditions like in Camarillo for RVs?
Camarillo's main roads are wide, flat, and RV-friendly. Las Posas Road, Lewis Road, and U.S. 101 provide easy access in and out of town, and the Conejo Grade on 101 is the only notable climb to plan for. Watch for coastal fog on summer mornings and low-hanging branches on older residential streets. To avoid heavy traffic toward Los Angeles, aim to drive before 2 pm or after 7 pm. Top off fuel and groceries in town before heading to coastal campgrounds, where prices are higher and selection is limited.
quickmap.dot.ca.gov/What amenities and hookups are at local RV campgrounds around Camarillo?
Full-service campgrounds near Camarillo such as Ventura Beach RV Resort and Ventura Ranch KOA offer water, sewer, and electric hookups along with showers, WiFi, and laundry, which are great for longer trips. State park campgrounds like McGrath State Beach and Point Mugu typically offer non-hookup sites with potable water and restrooms, plus dump stations on site. Always confirm current amenities and hookup availability when reserving, since some state park facilities open seasonally or close for maintenance.
parks.ca.gov/?page_id=607What features can I expect in motorhome or campervan rentals in Camarillo?
RV rentals in Camarillo come in a wide range of styles, from compact campervans to family motorhomes and travel trailers. Most include sleeping for 2 to 8, a kitchen with fridge and stove, a bathroom, air conditioning, and entertainment options. Many newer units offer solar panels, which are ideal for off-grid nights at Point Mugu. Bedding, cookware, and outdoor chairs are commonly included, and add-ons like generators, bike racks, or surfboards may be available for an extra fee. Every host provides a walkthrough so you know exactly how each system works.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Camarillo%2C%20CaliforniaAre there popular add-ons for RV rentals in Camarillo and how does pickup and dropoff work?
Campervan and motorhome rental in Camarillo often includes optional add-ons like camping chairs, portable grills, bikes, beach gear, and child car seats. You can pick up the RV at the host's location or choose delivery to a campground or address in Ventura County. Review the listing for mileage and generator policies, since some hosts include unlimited miles while others set a daily cap. Pickup and drop-off times are coordinated directly with your host through RVezy messaging for maximum flexibility.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106554-Mileage-and-generator-usageHow does payment and the security deposit work for Camarillo RV rentals?
Booking your RV rental in Camarillo is straightforward: pay securely through RVezy at checkout using a credit or debit card. A refundable security deposit, typically $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV type, is authorized on your card separately from the booking payment and released after your trip once the RV is returned clean and undamaged. To help ensure a quick deposit release, tidy the interior, refill fuel and propane to starting levels, and empty the tanks before drop-off. All charges are shown up front, so there are no surprises.
