The RV was fantastic and Josh was a great host! We were his first booking and you never would’ve known. He was super thorough in the walk-around going through the RV and the intricacies of the truck (it has air brakes!). Once on the road, it was super easy to drive, if you can say that about a 36’ Super C! The air ride seat made it really comfy and the adaptive cruise made it super easy to navigate from the driver side. And the kids and wife loved the onboard generator to watch TV, heat up some food, use the restroom, and even sleep while en route to our destination. When it’s time for another adventure, we’ll definitely be reaching out to Josh to rent again! Highly recommend Josh and his RV.

This was a wonderful experience. We camped in beach areas as well as wooded by a lake and this van was comfortable, reliable and REALLY easy to drive. We went to Atlanta, also, to the aquarium and navigating the city was easy as pie in this thing. The owners are INCREDIBLY nice and the communication is some of the best I’ve ever seen across things like this app, AirBnB, etc. Great people, great van, great experience.

I've never rented an RV before, will I be okay driving one around Holly Springs?

You've got this. First time renting an RV is easier than people expect, especially in Holly Springs, where roads like I-575, Highway 5, and Sixes Road are wide and well-maintained. Every RVezy host does a full walkthrough at pickup, showing you how to operate the slides, water systems, propane, generator, and tow setup, and they're a text away during your whole trip. If parallel parking a 30-footer sounds intimidating, just choose a travel trailer or Class C (most beginner-friendly) and book a host who offers delivery so you skip driving altogether. Pro tip: practice a few right turns in the Holly Springs Towne Center parking lot before heading north toward the mountains, ten minutes is all you need.

How much should I budget for fuel on a Holly Springs RV trip?

Fuel is usually the biggest variable in your trip budget, but it's manageable. Georgia gas prices are typically 30 to 50 cents below the national average, with stations around Holly Springs (Costco in Kennesaw, QuikTrip on Sixes Road, RaceTrac on Highway 5) offering some of the lowest pump prices in metro Atlanta. For a 300-mile weekend loop to Blue Ridge and back in a Class C, budget roughly $120 to $160 in fuel. Pro tip: fill up before heading into the mountains, prices climb noticeably once you pass Jasper.

The earlier the better, especially for lakefront sites. Corps of Engineers campgrounds around Lake Allatoona (Sweetwater, Victoria, McKinney, Upper Stamp Creek) book through Recreation.gov and open reservations exactly 6 months in advance. Summer weekends and fall color weekends sell out within hours. Georgia State Parks like Red Top Mountain use ReserveAmerica and follow the same 13-month rolling window. Private parks and KOAs are more flexible, often bookable a few weeks out. For a Holly Springs RV trip in peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), aim to lock down sites 3 to 6 months ahead. Pro tip: weekday arrivals (Sunday through Wednesday) are wide open even in summer, and rates are often 20 percent cheaper.

I-575, the main artery through town, is a wide, modern interstate with easy on/off ramps, making it comfortable for first-time RV drivers. Avoid heading south toward Atlanta on weekday mornings (7 to 9 AM) and afternoons (4 to 7 PM), when Cobb County backups can stretch for miles. Northbound travel toward the mountains is smooth except on summer Friday evenings. Watch for low-clearance bridges on some rural Cherokee County roads and always confirm your RV's height before departure. Hosts will share the exact height during your walkthrough so you can plan a worry-free RV road trip from Holly Springs.
