So glad I chose to rent an rv for the first time this weekend, as it rained 2 of 3 days and nights. Communication was smooth, even when a strange fluke occurred and I accidently got locked out. Matt immediately drove out to the site with a spare. It seemed to be a malfunction in the mechanism which I'm sure they will be addressing soon. The camper was clean, well equipped and simple to operate. The bed was comfy and I am particular. So , I was , a happy camper.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Harrison, TN

How much does an RV rental in Harrison, TN typically cost?

Renting an RV in Harrison, TN is often more affordable than a Chattanooga lakefront hotel plus dining out. On RVezy, travel trailers around Chickamauga Lake commonly start near $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes generally range from $175 to $275 per night, and larger Class A coaches sit higher. Hosts set their own nightly rates, mileage allowances, and add-on fees, so prices flex with season and demand. To find a cheap RV rental in Harrison, book midweek, target shoulder months like April or October, and use Instant Book filters to compare value quickly. Bonus tip: a delivered trailer parked at Harrison Bay State Park often costs less than a hotel room in downtown Chattanooga, with the lake right outside your door.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Harrison, TN?

Good news: your regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Harrison, TN. Tennessee does not require a Commercial Driver License (CDL) or any special endorsement to operate a personal recreational vehicle, including Class A motorhomes, Class C motorhomes, campervans, and travel trailers commonly listed on RVezy. Approved drivers on RVezy are generally 25 or older with a valid driver's license, and your ID is verified through the platform during booking. Visiting from outside the US? Bring your home-country license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP). Pro tip: message the host about your driving experience and they will point you toward the easiest rig to handle on Highway 58.

What protection is included when I book an RV rental in Harrison, TN?

Every RVezy booking in Harrison includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit the road around Chickamauga Lake feeling covered. The protection plan helps shield you from most accidental damage to the RV during your trip, and you choose your coverage tier during checkout, not the host. It is not traditional auto insurance, but it provides meaningful financial peace of mind whether you are parked at Harrison Bay State Park or rolling toward the Smoky Mountains. Different tiers are available so you can match coverage to your comfort level and budget. Pro tip: select your protection tier before finalizing payment, then take a quick video walkthrough at pickup so the condition of your motorhome rental in Harrison is clearly documented from day one.

What happens if I need to cancel my Harrison RV rental?

Booking is low-risk because RVezy, not the host, manages the cancellation policy for every reservation. There is a grace-period window after booking where you can cancel for a full refund, and additional refund options apply based on how many days remain before your trip. Because the cancellation policy is platform-wide and consistent, it is not displayed inside individual listings, which actually simplifies planning your Harrison RV trip. If you need to change dates, message your host first because many are flexible when their calendar allows. Pro tip: lock in your dates early for fall color season around Chickamauga Lake, then revisit your plans confidently knowing RVezy's cancellation framework has your back.
