Nick’s trailer was a great fit for our family. It was clean and well stocked. Nick was communicative with us and was very helpful. Overall a great experience and I recommend his trailer to families.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First-Time Trailer Campers, and We’re Hooked! 🚐🏕️ We had never stayed in a trailer before, let alone rented one for camping, so we were definitely newbies! Thankfully, Oscar made the whole experience a breeze. His communication was fantastic, and he patiently answered all our questions (and trust me, we had plenty! 😂). He delivered the trailer right to our campsite, hooked everything up, leveled it, and gave us a thorough walkthrough of all the interior and exterior features. Basically, he took the guesswork out of camping so we could focus on having fun! The trailer was well-equipped with pots, pans, plates, and knives, although we didn’t even need to use them. Everything was ready to go! The kids especially loved the bunks, which were a huge hit. Best of all, they had such a great time that they’re already saying they’d camp in an RV again. That’s a parenting win in our book! 🙌😂 Oscar truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better first trailer-rental experience. Would we recommend Oscar? Absolutely! Would we rent from him again? You bet! We’re already looking forward to our next adventure. Looks like Oscar has officially converted our family into RV campers! 🚐❤️

2021 Entegra Coach Class C
What a camper and what a host!!! The camper has everything you need and want. It is impeccably clean, it is roomie and has a lot of storage. We rented it for Labor Day weekend. The family was super flexible with our delivery and pickup time and were very responsive when we had questions about the camper. Everything worked how it was explained to us. We will absolutely be renting this again for our next trip! Thank you!

help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsAre there pet-friendly RV rental options in Ojai?
Yes, many Ojai hosts welcome pets. Use the pet-friendly filter on RVezy to find a pet-friendly RV rental in Ojai, and message the host before booking to confirm any pet fees or rules. Ojai is a great destination for dog owners, with the paved Ojai Valley Trail, Libbey Park, and several dog-friendly patios downtown. Pack a leash, water bowl, and waste bags so your four-legged co-pilot is ready for the adventure.
ventura.org/gsa/parks/ojai-valley-trail/Can the RV be delivered and set up at my Ojai campsite or home?

On RVezy, use the delivery filter, enter your destination, and the host will tow, level, and set up the RV, then walk you through how everything works. Delivery is ideal for first-time renters or anyone who would rather skip driving a large RV through the Topatopa foothills. Just confirm the delivery fee and distance with your host before booking.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106594-Delivery-optionsHow far can I travel with my RV rental from Ojai, and what are popular routes?
Most hosts include a daily mileage allowance of around 100 to 150 miles, with extra miles available for a per-mile fee, and some listings offer unlimited mileage (use the filter to find them). Popular RV road trips from Ojai include Santa Barbara (about 35 miles), Los Padres National Forest via scenic Highway 33, Channel Islands area near Ventura (about 30 miles), Big Sur (about 230 miles), and Joshua Tree National Park (about 200 miles). Confirm mileage and any travel restrictions in the listing before booking.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Ojai%2C%20CaliforniaWhere can I park an RV for overnight camping in or near Ojai?
Top RV camping options near Ojai include Lake Casitas Recreation Area (many sites with hookups and a dump station), Ventura Ranch KOA Holiday in Santa Paula (pool, family activities, glamping tents), Camp Comfort County Park just south of Ojai, and Wheeler Gorge Campground in Los Padres National Forest along Highway 33. Overnight street parking is not permitted in Ojai city limits, so plan to stay at a campground, all are within about 10 to 25 minutes of downtown. Reserve early for weekends and festivals.
venturaparks.org/ventura-county-parks/lake-casitas-recreation-area/What's the best time of year for an RV trip in Ojai?
Ojai has a Mediterranean climate with mild, occasionally rainy winters (typical lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s F) and warm, dry summers (highs often in the 80s to mid 90s F). The most comfortable windows for an RV trip are March to May and September to November, when temperatures are pleasant and wildflowers or fall light make the valley's famous Pink Moment sunsets especially memorable. Book ahead for the Ojai Music Festival in June and the Ojai Lavender Festival to secure your campsite.
weather.gov/lox/Is Ojai a good place for first-time RV renters?
Yes, Ojai is a relaxed, low-traffic destination that works well for first-time RV renters. Many hosts offer delivery and setup plus an in-person walkthrough, so you don't have to figure out hookups or systems on your own. Valley roads are well-paved and easy to navigate, and if a large motorhome feels intimidating, a campervan rental in Ojai gives you a smaller, easier-to-drive option with plenty of comfort.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/categories/360003356374-For-rentersWhat if I have a breakdown or issue during my Ojai RV rental?
Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance, covering common issues like flat tires, jump starts, lockouts, and towing. If something goes wrong near Lake Casitas, on Highway 33, or anywhere on your trip, contact RVezy roadside support and notify your host. Save the RVezy support contact in your phone before you leave and download offline maps, since cell service in Los Padres National Forest can be spotty.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionCan I take my Ojai RV rental to other states or Canada?
Travel beyond California is often allowed, but it depends on the individual host and your protection plan. Trips to destinations like Zion National Park, the Grand Canyon, or the Pacific Northwest can be possible if approved in advance. Travel into Mexico is not permitted. Share your planned route in your booking request so the host can confirm eligibility before you hit the road.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityHow much should I budget for fuel and camping fees in Ojai?
Most RV rentals near Ojai average 8 to 14 miles per gallon depending on size. California gas prices are typically among the highest in the U.S., often in the $4.50 to $5.50 per gallon range. Campground fees near Ojai generally run about $35 to $55 per night for basic sites and $60 to $90+ per night for full hookups at places like Lake Casitas. Cooking in your RV's kitchen is an easy way to save, leaving more budget for Ojai's farm stands and tasting rooms.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far ahead should I book campgrounds near Ojai?
For the best campgrounds near Ojai, reserve 3 to 4 months ahead for spring and summer weekends, holidays, and festival dates. Lake Casitas Recreation Area and Ventura Ranch KOA fill quickly from March through October. Book Lake Casitas through Ventura County Parks and federal sites like Wheeler Gorge through Recreation.gov. Weekday stays usually have more availability if you're flexible, and booking early helps you snag lakefront or shaded sites.
recreation.gov/Are Ojai's roads easy for RVs to drive?
Ojai's main routes are RV friendly. Highway 33 and Highway 150 provide easy access to the valley, with wide lanes on most stretches. Expect some curves and grades on mountain sections like the Dennison Grade and the upper part of Highway 33 north of Ojai, so take it slow in a larger motorhome. Downtown streets are narrow with limited parking, so booking RV delivery to your campground is often the easiest option. On summer weekends, leave early to avoid traffic toward Ventura and Santa Barbara.
roads.dot.ca.gov/Do Ojai-area campgrounds have electric, freshwater, and sewer hookups?
Hookup availability varies by campground. Lake Casitas Recreation Area offers a mix of full hookup, partial hookup, and dry sites plus a dump station. Ventura Ranch KOA has full hookup and standard RV sites. Wheeler Gorge Campground in Los Padres National Forest is a dry forest campground with no hookups. Freshwater spigots are available at most developed campgrounds. If hookups are essential, filter for full hookup sites and book early, especially during festival season.
venturaparks.org/ventura-county-parks/lake-casitas-recreation-area/What features are typically included in an Ojai RV rental?
Most Ojai RV rentals come with real beds, a kitchen with fridge and stove, a bathroom with shower, a dining area, and seatbelted seating. Many include air conditioning, a furnace, awnings, outdoor showers, and a generator for off-grid camping. Some listings add extras like a TV, solar, or a Wi-Fi hotspot. Each listing photo gallery and amenity list shows exactly what's included, and you can message the host directly to confirm specific features before booking.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Ojai%2C%20CaliforniaCan I request extras like bikes, camping chairs, or grills with my Ojai RV rental?
Yes. Many Ojai hosts offer add-ons such as camp chairs, portable grills, bikes, bedding and linen packages, and even paddleboards or kayaks for Lake Casitas. Available extras appear on each listing, and you can select them during the booking request. Some add-ons are free while others have a small fee, but they often beat packing or renting separately. For larger groups, ask your host about bundled family packages.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Ojai%2C%20CaliforniaHow do payment and security deposits work for Ojai RV rentals?
RVezy charges your payment method when your booking is confirmed, and bookings can sometimes be split into installments depending on trip dates. A refundable security deposit is held separately before your trip starts and released after a successful return, typically within a few days. The deposit covers minor incidents not handled by your protection plan. Do a quick walkthrough with your host at pickup and return to keep things smooth.
