Shadi and Troy are great to work with. They are great communicators and responsive. Prior to to the trip they provide a 10 page brief overview of the RV. The RV itself was clean and easy to drive. There was an issue with the leveling jacks on our trip and Troy drove down personally the next day and fixed the issue after he attempted to resolve the problem over the phone. Troy is very easy going and friendly. Highly recommend renting from them. They will be my 1st call next time I need a RV for a trip.

Angel 😇 Life Saver ⛑️ Great Communication 📲📞 Informative 📚 PUNCTUAL ⏳️ Just a few words to describe this wonderful Host. When my prior host backed out and canceled on me the day of (There was no communication up til 48hrs before trip, and stopped again the morning of. I reached out for clarification and location, no response! Moments later Rveezy tells me the host is no longer comfortable with accommodating us) Evgeniy not only responed within 5min of me reachout out, but had us out and on the road to enjoy out trip within an hour. The vehicle is perfect, clean and easy to function. We had never driven or worked an RV before but his quick rundown and eargeness to answer any questions helped put out minds at ease. He is so kind, professonal, and absolutely Amazing 🤩. We will definitely rent from him again despite our extra charges for not having time to thoroughly clean out and fill up; but that was a very small price to pay for what we would have missed if he hadn't come to help us out of a pickle. They only gave the options of 5 stars so I'll leave the rest here : ✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️⭐️🌟✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️⭐️🌟✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟✨️⭐️🌟✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️

rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Sausalito,CaliforniaCan my Sausalito RV rental be delivered and set up at a local campground?
Yes. Many RVezy hosts offer RV delivery in Sausalito directly to a campground, park, or address of your choice, and will handle setup and a full walkthrough on arrival. rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Sausalito,CaliforniaHow far can I travel with my Sausalito RV rental and what are some top nearby road trip destinations?
Most RVezy hosts set generous daily mileage allowances, and some Sausalito rentals include unlimited mileage, which is perfect for longer road trips. Popular routes from Sausalito include Napa Valley wine country (about 50 miles), Point Reyes National Seashore (about 40 miles), Big Sur (about 170 miles), and Yosemite National Park (about 200 miles). Confirm mileage terms with your host before booking, then use RVezy filters to find the right rig for your dream California route.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Sausalito,CaliforniaWhere can I park or camp with my RV around Sausalito?
RV camping near Sausalito offers world-class scenery within minutes. Popular options include Marin Park in San Rafael with full hookups, Kirby Cove Campground in the Marin Headlands for tents and small RVs with coastal views, and Olema Campground about 30 minutes north with family amenities. Overnight street parking for RVs is not allowed in Sausalito, so plan to stay at an established campground. Book early for summer weekends, and reserve Kirby Cove on Recreation.gov as soon as your dates open.
nps.gov/goga/planyourvisit/campgrounds.htmWhen is the best time of year for an RV trip to Sausalito?
Sausalito is comfortable for RV trips from late March through early November, with typical daytime highs in the 60s F (about 16-21 C) and cool, foggy summer mornings near the coast. September and October are local favorites, offering some of the warmest, clearest days and lighter crowds. Winter trips are still possible, but expect frequent rain from December through February and cooler nights. Bring layers year-round, as Bay Area microclimates can shift quickly between sun, wind, and fog.
weather.gov/mtr/Is Sausalito RV-friendly for first-time renters?
Yes. Sausalito is a great launchpad for first-time RV renters. Many nearby campgrounds have wide, paved sites, and your RVezy host will walk you through every system before you hit the road. If you are nervous about narrow downtown streets or crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, choose a host who offers RV delivery so your camper is set up and ready at the campground. Start with a shorter loop through the Marin Headlands or Point Reyes to build confidence.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsWhat happens if I run into mechanical trouble on my Sausalito RV trip?
You are covered. Every Sausalito RV rental booked on RVezy includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan. help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I take my Sausalito RV rental across state lines or into Canada?
Most RVezy hosts allow travel from Sausalito into nearby states like Oregon and Nevada, which makes it a great launch point for West Coast RV road trips on routes like Highway 1 or I-80. Travel into Mexico is not permitted. Trips into Canada may be allowed depending on the host, the RV, and your protection plan, so confirm in writing with your host before booking. Always review the host's travel rules on the listing page.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityHow should I budget for fuel on a Sausalito RV trip?
RV fuel economy in California typically averages 8-12 mpg for motorhomes and 15-20 mpg for campervans. Marin County gas prices generally run higher than the U.S. average, so check current local prices before you leave and top off in Mill Valley or Novato before remote stretches like Highway 1 north or Point Reyes. Plan efficient loops rather than backtracking, and ask your host whether the RV uses gasoline or diesel so you budget accurately.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far ahead should I book a campground near Sausalito and what is the best way to reserve?
Campgrounds near Sausalito fill quickly, especially from May through September. For sought-after sites like Kirby Cove and other Golden Gate National Recreation Area campgrounds, book up to 6 months in advance on Recreation.gov. For California State Parks like Samuel P. Taylor or Mount Tamalpais, use ReserveCalifornia.com on the same 6-month rolling window. Shoulder season and weekday stays offer easier last-minute availability and more spacious sites for family RV trips.
recreation.gov/What are local driving conditions like for RVs in Sausalito and Marin County?
Sausalito's main roads are manageable for most RVs, but downtown streets along Bridgeway can be narrow and busy, so larger rigs should avoid the waterfront core when possible. Highway 101 is smooth and RV-friendly, though Bay Area rush hour can be slow. Many renters choose RV delivery to skip tight city sections and start their trip from a campground. North on Highway 1 you will find winding, scenic stretches that are best suited to smaller motorhomes and campervan rentals.
quickmap.dot.ca.gov/What amenities can I expect at Sausalito-area RV parks and campgrounds?
You will find a range of amenities at RV parks near Sausalito. Marin Park in San Rafael offers full hookups with water, electric, and sewer. Kirby Cove in the Marin Headlands is more rustic, with vault toilets and stunning coastal views but no hookups. Olema Campground includes laundry, showers, and family-friendly facilities. Dump stations and potable water are available at most full-service parks. Always check the campground website for site lengths and reservation rules before booking your rig.
nps.gov/goga/planyourvisit/campgrounds.htmWhat features and amenities will my RV rental in Sausalito have?
