This camper was awesome just what we were looking for . The space was nice for only three people but a good amount of room to visit with friends and get out of the rain. The best part was Jessica delivered the camper exactly where we wanted. Jessica and Mike are very nice people to work with and will use them again if they will have us. Thank you.

This RV is incredible and was perfect for our family of four. Everything worked perfectly and was in excellent condition. We loved being able to do all of our cooking outside. Being able to put the murphy bed up during the day and have a couch for more seating was extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience renting Todd's camper. The camper was clean and well maintained, everything worked as it should. The walk around queen bed is a huge benefit, especially in smaller campers. Todd was very responsive to my questions and very easy to work with and I definitely recommend renting from him. Greg

As a first time RV renter, I had a great experience. Chris is an exceptional communicator, the RV was super clean, and loaded with convenient items such as kitchenware, plastic ware and spices. It was vacation ready, fueled up and maintenanced well!. The RV was large enough for my family of five, and made our vacation a breeze! I would definitely rent from Chris again!

We picked up the Rocky roamer (about 15 minutes from Denver Airport by car,) inspected it and read the directions for how to work things like turning off the battery if you are parking for an extended period, and we set out on our adventure. Visited our daughter up in Yellowstone National Park, but had fun driving there and back. Any time and any place you are legally able to stop & park is a perfect campsite! Our favorite is in a parking lot at a 24 hour truck stop, as the coffee is already made when you get up. However, the curtains work so well, if you don't use an alarm to wake up, it sure seems like the middle of the night; very secure and private. We had rented through RVezy before, and each time we have been very happy with their system, before, during, and afterwards.

Just book it already! It’s the van you want! The van itself has everything you need! Spacious! Easy to drive and an amazing turning radius! And not bad in gas. The Host is even better! Super sweet, helpful and knowledgeable about Colorado! I had the most random questions and she’d answer them and get back to me promptly. I can’t wait to go back and explore more with EJ’s vans!

May to mid-June and September to mid-October see daytime highs in the 60s-80s°F and less crowding. Mountain areas stay cooler and are prone to late spring snow. How do I budget for gas on a Colorado RV trip, and what's typical fuel economy?

For a Colorado RV road trip, plan for average fuel economy: motorhomes get 8-12 mpg, travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle. Gas prices vary, but expect $3.20-$3.80/gallon (as of spring 2024). Mountain drives mean more fuel per mile, so budget extra for places like Vail Pass or Trail Ridge Road. Check your route with a gas app for up-to-date prices. Pro tip: fill up before heading into remote areas like San Juan Mountains.

How far ahead should I book campgrounds in Colorado, and which reservation systems do locals use?

For summer weekends and popular spots, book 3-6 months ahead: especially at high-demand places like Chatfield State Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, or Mueller State Park. Use the Colorado Parks and Wildlife site for state parks and www.recreation.gov for national parks and forests. Planning a local RV trip for fall colors? Set calendar alerts: sites sell out fast in September! Booking early gives you more choices and peace of mind.

What are Colorado's unique driving conditions for RVs?

Driving an RV in Colorado takes a few mountain-minded tips! Expect winding roads, elevation changes, and sometimes fast-changing weather: snow can fall in May or September above 9,000 feet. Watch out for wildlife crossings on US 285 or I-70, and allow extra time for mountain passes like Eisenhower Tunnel. If city traffic isn't your thing, RV delivery is a great stress-free option. Experienced hosts provide route suggestions for safe and scenic travel.

What campground amenities can I expect in Colorado, and how do I dump or fill water?

Most RV campgrounds in Colorado offer electric hookups, water fill stations, and dump stations. State parks like Boyd Lake or Eleven Mile offer full or partial hookups, and many private parks have Wi-Fi and laundry, while National Forest campgrounds tend to be more basic (think vault toilets, water pumps). You'll find public dump stations in mountain towns like Estes Park and Durango: check before arrival. Grab a campground map for the details and smooth camping.

What features come on Colorado RV rentals: do they have kitchens, bathrooms, AC, and Wi-Fi?

Nearly every motorhome rental in Colorado comes with basic comforts: beds, kitchen with fridge and stove, bathroom and shower, heater, and air conditioning. Many have TVs, Bluetooth audio, generators, and even Wi-Fi or mobile hot spots (check each listing for details). Seatbelts and child safety features are standard in recent models. Whether you want full hookups or just the essentials, you'll find an RV that fits your Colorado camping style.

Can I add extras to my RV rental in Colorado like bikes or outdoor gear?

Yes! Many Colorado RV rentals offer popular add-ons like bike racks, camp chairs, grills, or paddleboards for a small fee: just select them when booking. Pickup is easy (hosts will coordinate timing and location), and flexible drop-off options can fit your schedule. Want to maximize your Colorado RV adventure? Ask about local gear rentals or unique host offerings: some provide lift tickets or fishing gear too.

How does the security deposit work for a Colorado RV rental, and how do I avoid fees?

The security deposit for your Colorado RV rental is processed securely through RVezy: no cash needed. It's a hold (not a charge) and is released as long as the RV comes back clean, on time, and undamaged. Follow your host's check-out steps, keep receipts for gas fill-ups, and double-check for forgotten gear. Want a smooth experience? Communicate with your host, and have a stress-free end to your adventure.
