2025 Thor Motor Coach Class B
This was our first time renting an RV, and Peter made it easy and enjoyable from start to finish. He was responsive, helpful, and walked us through everything we needed to know about the van, so we felt confident hitting the road right away. The camper van was comfortable and well kept, and it was a great way to explore the Smokies, Blue Ridge, and northern Georgia. We'd happily rent from Peter again and recommend him to anyone, first-timers included!

Where can I camp with an RV rental in Palm Springs, FL?
Renting an RV in Palm Springs, FL puts you within easy reach of three excellent campgrounds with full hookups. John Prince Park Campground in nearby Lake Worth Beach sits on Lake Osborne with paved sites, 30/50 amp service, and is a Palm Beach County favorite. Lion Country Safari KOA in Loxahatchee lets you camp next to a drive-through safari park. For a true Florida wilderness vibe, Jonathan Dickinson State Park (about 45 minutes north in Hobe Sound) offers two campgrounds along the Loxahatchee River with full hookups in the Pine Grove loop and thousands of acres to explore. Pro tip: book John Prince Park up to 90 days out and request a lakeside site for sunset views.
discover.pbcgov.org/parks/Pages/Camping-JohnPrincePark.aspxHow much does it cost to rent an RV in Palm Springs, FL?
An RV rental in Palm Springs, FL is one of the more affordable ways to vacation in South Florida. On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes run roughly $175 to $275, and larger Class A motorhomes can reach $300 or more. You can often save by traveling in the shoulder months of May and September, when winter snowbird demand drops and hosts frequently offer weekly discounts. Booking midweek and choosing a travel trailer your tow vehicle can handle is the simplest path to a cheap RV rental in Palm Springs. Message a host directly through the listing to ask about weekly discounts before you book.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Palm%20Springs%2C%20FloridaWhat license do I need to rent an RV in Palm Springs, FL?
Good news: a standard driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Palm Springs, FL. Florida does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or special endorsement for personal-use motorhomes, travel trailers, or campervans under 26,000 pounds, which covers every rental on RVezy. Approved drivers on RVezy are generally 25 or older, and your identification is verified through the platform during booking. Visiting from outside the United States? Bring your home country license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) and you are ready to roll. Most first-time renters are surprised how smoothly the process moves once they see how clearly RVezy walks them through it.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs the RV protected if something happens during my trip?
Yes, every RV rental in Palm Springs, FL booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can head out to the beach or the Everglades with confidence. The protection plan covers physical damage to the RV up to plan limits and gives you real peace of mind. RVezy offers multiple protection plan tiers, and you, the guest, choose the level that fits your trip during checkout. Hosts do not pick the coverage level for you. Pro tip: select the higher-tier plan for your first motorhome rental in Palm Springs so you can focus on the trip, not the what-ifs.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat if I need to cancel my Palm Springs RV rental?
Booking is low-risk, so you can plan your Palm Springs RV trip with confidence. RVezy (not the host) sets the cancellation policy, which includes a money-back grace period after booking and provisions that account for circumstances like hurricanes and named tropical storms, which matter in South Florida from June through November. Because refund amounts depend on how far out you are from your trip start, you will see exactly how cancellation works during checkout and in your booking confirmation. Pro tip: book early for peak winter weeks (January through March) to lock in the best rigs, then relax knowing the RVezy cancellation framework has your back.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Palm Springs?
Absolutely, a pet-friendly RV rental in Palm Springs, FL is easy to find. On RVezy, toggle the Pet-Friendly filter to see hosts who welcome dogs (some welcome cats and other pets too). Once you arrive, your pup will enjoy John Prince Park's leashed trails around Lake Osborne, the dog-friendly sand at Jupiter Beach about 35 minutes north, and the off-leash area at Okeeheelee Park just minutes from Palm Springs. Always confirm the pet fee and any size or breed notes with the host through the message thread before booking. Pro tip: bring a portable shade canopy. South Florida pavement gets hot, and your dog will thank you.
discover.pbcgov.org/parks/Pages/Okeeheelee.aspxCan the RV be delivered to my campground or home in Palm Springs?
Yes, RV delivery in Palm Springs is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first-time renters. Many local hosts will tow or drive the RV directly to John Prince Park Campground, Lion Country Safari KOA, Jonathan Dickinson State Park, or even your driveway, then level it, hook up power and water, and walk you through every system. That means you skip the stress of towing a trailer through I-95 traffic or maneuvering a large motorhome on your first try. Filter listings by Delivery on RVezy to see which hosts offer it and how far they travel. Pro tip: ask about a delivery-plus-setup package so you arrive to a fully ready campsite.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Palm%20Springs%2C%20FloridaHow far can I drive my Palm Springs RV rental?
Palm Springs, FL is a fantastic launch pad for a Florida RV road trip. Within a tank of fuel you can reach the Florida Keys (Key Largo is about 2 hours south), Everglades National Park (around 2 hours southwest), Sanibel and Captiva Islands (about 3 hours west), Kennedy Space Center (around 2.5 hours north), and Walt Disney World in Orlando (about 2.5 hours northwest). Hosts on RVezy set their own mileage policies, and many offer generous daily limits or an RV rental with unlimited mileage. Check the listing details and message the host if you are planning a longer loop. Pro tip: if you want to head into the Keys, confirm bridge-height clearances on the Overseas Highway before you go.
nps.gov/ever/planyourvisit/index.htmWhen is the best time to visit Palm Springs, FL in an RV?
The sweet spot for RV camping in Palm Springs runs from late October through April, when daytime highs sit in the comfortable 70 to 80 degree Fahrenheit range, humidity drops, and mosquitoes ease off. This is also snowbird season, so campgrounds book up fast. May and early June bring warm beach weather, lower prices, and far less competition for sites. Summer (July through September) is hot and humid and falls in Atlantic hurricane season, which runs June 1 through November 30, so flexibility helps. Pro tip: target mid-November or mid-March for a great mix of comfortable weather, available sites, and lower nightly rates on your Palm Springs RV trip.
nhc.noaa.gov/climo/I have never rented an RV before. Is Palm Springs a good place to start?
Palm Springs, FL is one of the friendliest spots in the country for first time renting an RV. The terrain is flat, the roads are wide, campgrounds like John Prince Park sit just minutes off I-95, and most local hosts will deliver and set up the rig for you. Every RVezy booking includes a host walkthrough at pickup, so you will not be guessing how to run the awning, water pump, or generator. You also get 24/7 roadside assistance and a responsive Help Center. Pro tip: book a Class C motorhome or travel trailer under 25 feet for your first trip. They are easier to park and still sleep a family of four comfortably.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/categories/360002054793-For-RentersWhat happens if I have a breakdown or issue on the road?
You are covered. Every RV rental in Palm Springs, FL booked through RVezy includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, so a flat tire on Florida's Turnpike or a dead battery at a state park is just a quick phone call away. Roadside help can dispatch tire service, jump starts, fuel delivery, and towing when needed. Your host is also a text away for questions about quirky switches or appliance settings. RVezy support is available before, during, and after your trip through the app and Help Center. Pro tip: save the roadside number and your host's number to your phone before pickup, so you are never fumbling on the shoulder of I-95.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I take my Palm Springs RV rental across state lines or into Canada?
Yes, interstate road trips are very common with an RV rental in Palm Springs. Most RVezy hosts allow travel throughout the continental United States, so popular routes from Palm Springs include heading north up I-95 to Savannah and Charleston, west through the Florida Panhandle to New Orleans, or all the way up to the Great Smoky Mountains. Travel into Canada may be allowed depending on the host and protection plan, so confirm in the message thread before booking. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because protection coverage stops at the border. Pro tip: share your full route with the host when you book. They often have insider tips for fuel stops and overnight parking.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityWhat kind of fuel mileage should I budget for my Palm Springs RV trip?
Budgeting fuel for your Palm Springs RV trip is straightforward. Class C motorhomes typically get 8 to 12 miles per gallon (MPG), Class A motorhomes run 6 to 10 MPG, campervans (Class B) often hit 15 to 20 MPG, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle (usually 10 to 14 MPG while towing). Florida regular unleaded prices generally track close to the national average. For a 500-mile loop down to the Keys and back in a Class C, plan on roughly 50 gallons of fuel. Pro tip: fuel up at Pilot or Flying J locations along I-95 outside the urban core for the easiest big-rig pumps.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campground near Palm Springs?
Book early, especially for the high season. Jonathan Dickinson State Park opens reservations 11 months in advance through the Florida State Parks reservation system, and prime winter weekends sell out the day they release. John Prince Park Campground in Lake Worth Beach takes reservations up to 90 days out (with extended windows for Palm Beach County residents), and lakefront sites go fast. Private parks like Lion Country Safari KOA generally let you book a year ahead online. Pro tip: line up your RVezy host first, then immediately reserve your campground. Hosts can recommend which loops fit their rig, which saves you from picking a site that is too short or too narrow.
floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/jonathan-dickinson-state-parkWhat are driving conditions like around Palm Springs, FL?
Driving an RV around Palm Springs, FL is refreshingly easy. The village sits on a flat coastal plain with a tight grid of two- and four-lane roads. I-95 and Florida's Turnpike run nearby, giving you fast access north and south, while US-1 and Military Trail handle local trips. Watch for afternoon thunderstorms from June through September (they roll in fast and pass quickly), lane shifts in West Palm Beach construction zones, and slower traffic on Lake Worth Road during snowbird season. Most local overpasses easily clear standard RVs. Pro tip: avoid I-95 between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale from 4 to 6 PM. Take Florida's Turnpike instead for a smoother ride.
fl511.com/What amenities do local campgrounds offer for RVs?
Campgrounds around Palm Springs, FL are well equipped for RV camping. John Prince Park Campground offers paved sites with full hookups (water, sewer, 30/50 amp electric), laundry, and a dump station. Jonathan Dickinson State Park's Pine Grove loop has full hookups with 50 amp service, and the River loop has water and electric only with a central dump station. Lion Country Safari KOA features full hookups, a pool, and a dog park. Potable water fill stations and dump stations are available at most parks. Pro tip: even if your site has sewer, bring a 20-foot drinking-water hose and a 25-foot sewer hose. Florida sites are roomy, and you will appreciate the extra reach.
floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/jonathan-dickinson-state-parkWhat is included inside a typical Palm Springs RV rental?
RVezy rigs in Palm Springs come ready for vacation. Expect a queen or king bed, bunk or convertible sleeping for kids, a full kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and freezer, a private bathroom with hot-water shower, roof air conditioning (essential in Florida), a furnace, and a flat-screen TV. Many campervans and motorhomes also include a built-in generator, solar panels, outdoor speakers, and seatbelted seating for travel. Wi-Fi varies by host. Some include mobile hotspots, others rely on campground Wi-Fi. Linens, kitchenware, and basic cookware are commonly included, and each listing spells out exactly what comes with the rig. Pro tip: check the listing's Sleeps count and seatbelt count separately. Sleeping six does not always mean six can ride legally.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Palm%20Springs%2C%20FloridaWhat add-ons and pickup options do hosts offer in Palm Springs?
Hosts on RVezy in Palm Springs offer a long menu of optional add-ons that make the trip easier. Common extras include a stocked kitchen kit, bedding and towel packages, outdoor camping chairs, bikes, kayaks or stand-up paddleboards (perfect for Lake Osborne), portable Wi-Fi hotspots, generators for off-grid stays, and pet packages. Delivery and setup is the most popular add-on locally, often priced by mileage from the host's home base. Mileage policies vary: some listings include 100 to 150 free miles per day, others advertise unlimited mileage. Pro tip: bundle delivery with a stocked-kitchen kit if you are flying into Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). You will land, grab a rideshare, and step into a fully stocked RV at your campsite.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Palm%20Springs%2C%20FloridaHow does payment and the security deposit work?
Payment is simple and secure when you rent an RV in Palm Springs, FL through RVezy. You pay through the platform with a credit or debit card, and your booking funds are held by RVezy until your trip begins, so the host is verified before any payout. A security deposit is separate from your booking payment and is typically pre-authorized on your card a few days before pickup. It is not charged unless there is damage, missing items, or excess mileage at return. Deposit amounts vary by RV class and host, with details shown on every listing before you book. Pro tip: do a thorough pre-trip walkthrough video at pickup with the host, then again at drop-off. It is the single best way to avoid any deposit dispute and keep your Palm Springs RV rental experience smooth.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksWhere can I legally park an RV overnight in Palm Springs?
Overnight RV parking in Palm Springs, FL is meant for designated campgrounds, not residential streets. The Village of Palm Springs regulates RV storage and parking through its code enforcement office, and overnight street parking is generally not permitted. The good news: you have great options nearby. John Prince Park Campground in Lake Worth Beach is about 10 minutes away with full hookups, Lion Country Safari KOA is roughly 25 minutes west, and Jonathan Dickinson State Park is about 45 minutes north. Pro tip: if your host is delivering your campervan rental in Palm Springs, have them drop it directly at the campground so you skip any parking hassle.
