The RV was fantastic and Josh was a great host! We were his first booking and you never would’ve known. He was super thorough in the walk-around going through the RV and the intricacies of the truck (it has air brakes!). Once on the road, it was super easy to drive, if you can say that about a 36’ Super C! The air ride seat made it really comfy and the adaptive cruise made it super easy to navigate from the driver side. And the kids and wife loved the onboard generator to watch TV, heat up some food, use the restroom, and even sleep while en route to our destination. When it’s time for another adventure, we’ll definitely be reaching out to Josh to rent again! Highly recommend Josh and his RV.

This was a wonderful experience. We camped in beach areas as well as wooded by a lake and this van was comfortable, reliable and REALLY easy to drive. We went to Atlanta, also, to the aquarium and navigating the city was easy as pie in this thing. The owners are INCREDIBLY nice and the communication is some of the best I’ve ever seen across things like this app, AirBnB, etc. Great people, great van, great experience.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Woodstock, GA

What's the best time of year for an RV rental in Woodstock, GA?

Spring and fall are the sweet spot for an RV rental in Woodstock, with March through May and September through early November delivering daytime highs in the 65-80°F range, lower humidity, and stunning North Georgia foliage. Summers are warm and muggy (highs in the upper 80s to low 90s with afternoon thunderstorms), but lake-based camping at Allatoona makes the heat very manageable. Winters are short and mild, with January highs around 52°F and lows just above freezing, so year-round RV camping in Woodstock is genuinely doable. Pro tip: book an October weekend at McKinney Campground for peak fall color over Lake Allatoona, it's hard to beat.

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Woodstock, GA?

RV rental in Woodstock, GA is one of the most affordable ways to travel the Southeast, with most rigs priced between roughly $95 and $250 per night depending on size, age, and season. Compact campervans and travel trailers sit at the lower end, while larger Class A and Class C motorhomes great for families run higher. What's included for protection and peace of mind on an RVezy rental in Woodstock?

Every RV rental in Woodstock on RVezy comes with a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit the road with real peace of mind. During checkout, you choose the protection tier that fits your trip (you select it, not the host), with options ranging from essential to more comprehensive coverage. Can the RV be delivered to my campground in Woodstock?

Yes, RV delivery in Woodstock is one of the most popular options for first-timers and families who don't want to drive a big rig. Just filter for Delivery on the listing page and enter your destination, you'll see delivery fees up front (typically a flat fee plus a per-mile charge). Pro tip: delivery is a game-changer if you're flying into Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport (about an hour south), you can skip the rental car and meet your RV at the campground.

Georgia State Parks like Red Top Mountain use ReserveAmerica with a 13-month booking window. For private parks like Atlanta North RV Resort, 2-3 months is usually plenty. What are driving conditions like around Woodstock and North Georgia?

Driving an RV around Woodstock is genuinely easy compared to most metro areas. Woodstock sits on I-575 about 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta, so you can completely avoid Atlanta's notorious I-285 perimeter when heading to Lake Allatoona, Blue Ridge, or the Smokies. Within town, watch height clearance on the old railroad bridge near downtown Woodstock (under 12 feet) and stick to truck-friendly routes like Highway 92 and Bells Ferry Road. Mountain roads north of Ellijay get winding, take it slow on Highway 60 and Highway 515. Pro tip: avoid I-575 southbound between 6:30-9:00 AM weekdays, Atlanta-bound commuter traffic backs up fast near Towne Lake Parkway.
