Very responsive to request to book. Accommodated our timing for delivery and pickup. Handled all the set up and take down. It's a small camper but is perfect if you just need a spot to sleep, shower and have a small meal. Just bring your extras to set up and enjoy the outdoors. (It does have 2 chairs and an outdoor rug as well).

So happy to have rented our first time with Samantha. The camper is fairly new so it was super clean and all systems worked as expected. Any glitches in operation were resolved with the owners manual (on board) or with communication with Samantha. I towed to our camp site with a GMC Canyon (7K towing capacity & electronic brake control)) and it followed like a dream. No need for anti sway gear. Our property has no hookups so we basically boondocked for the weekend. Take advantage of the generators the host is offering if boondocking is your plan. They worked great. There is also a solar panel system that is providing power for minor items when you are off generator. Overall we had an awesome weekend and Samantha was a great host. I would rent from her again.

How much should I budget for fuel on an Oliver Springs RV trip?

Fuel is one of the easier parts of your Oliver Springs RV trip to budget. Tennessee gas prices typically run a bit below the national average, and you will find plenty of Pilot and Flying J stations along I-40 and I-75. Expect roughly 8 to 10 miles per gallon for a Class A, 10 to 14 for a Class C, and 16 to 20 for a Class B campervan rental in Oliver Springs or a fuel-efficient tow vehicle with a small travel trailer. A 250-mile round trip to Gatlinburg in a Class C usually runs about $80 to $110 in fuel depending on current pump prices. Pro tip: the Pilot Flying J headquarters is in nearby Knoxville, and the app helps you find the cheapest pumps with RV-friendly lanes.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Oliver Springs?

Booking ahead is the secret to landing the best campgrounds near Oliver Springs. Tennessee State Parks like Frozen Head and Norris Dam open reservations through the official tnstateparks.com reservation system, and prime weekends in May, June, and October fill quickly. Windrock Park Campground books directly through windrockpark.com, and event weekends (Spring Jamboree, Stampede, Trail Ride) often sell out 3 to 6 months out. For private RV parks like Escapees Raccoon Valley in Heiskell, 2 to 4 weeks of lead time is usually plenty. Pro tip: lock in your campsite before finalizing your RVezy booking so your dates line up perfectly.

What are driving conditions like around Oliver Springs?

Driving in and around Oliver Springs is RV-friendly once you know the lay of the land. Highway 62 and Tri-County Boulevard are wide, well-maintained, and easy for big rigs, and I-40 and I-75 in Knoxville are about 20 minutes south for longer hauls. Roads climbing toward Windrock Gap and into the Cumberland foothills get steeper and curvier, so downshift, use engine braking, and avoid those routes in heavy rain or winter ice. Knoxville traffic is busiest weekday afternoons from 4 to 6 p.m., so try to avoid I-40 through downtown then. Local insider tip: take Oliver Springs Highway (SR-61) for a scenic, low-stress route into Clinton instead of cutting through the city.

What hookups and amenities do campgrounds near Oliver Springs offer?

Most campgrounds near Oliver Springs are well equipped. Windrock Park Campground offers full hookups (water, 50-amp electric, sewer) on gravel pads sized for Class A motorhomes. Frozen Head State Park has water and 30/50-amp electric with a central dump station, and heated bathhouses keep shoulder-season trips comfortable. Norris Dam State Park's west campground offers water and electric sites plus dump access. Potable water fills are available at all three. Pro tip: if you are staying at a primitive site like Rock Creek in the Obed area, top off your fresh water and dump at the Frozen Head dump station on your way in to save a mid-stay trip.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is simple and secure. When you book your RV rental in Oliver Springs, TN, RVezy charges your credit or debit card through the platform, with no cash or e-transfers to the host. The security deposit is separate from your booking payment and is held as a pre-authorization on your card rather than charged outright, then released after your trip once the host confirms the RV is returned in the agreed condition. To avoid issues, do a video walkaround with the host at pickup, follow the mileage and dump rules, and return on time. Pro tip: keep your fuel and dump-station receipts so any post-trip questions are easy to resolve.
