2005 Dodge Class B
A truly excellent rental experience. The host was accommodating on pickup time, it was clean, everything worked, and it was fully equipped. Dishes, cookware, bedding, camping chairs, games, movies, and so many miscellaneous items. When we thought of something we needed it always turned out to be in a drawer. Dropping off was smooth and easy. We've camped for years with an A-frame trailer and this was our first time with a camping van. We love our A-frame but now we want one just like Ms. Retro.

Marvin was very communicative and set up everything needed for the rental. We were using it for family to sleep as there wasn’t enough beds or floor space for all the family. Those that stayed in it said the water and heat worked perfectly. And, the beds were very comfortable. He had many lengths of hose and extension cords available, so he was able to set it up with my very distant outlet and faucet. I would definitely rent from Marvin again.

Is it difficult to drive an RV in and around San Pablo? Any local quirks to know?

Driving an RV around San Pablo is manageable, especially compared to San Francisco. I-80 and I-580 are the main RV-friendly routes, but expect heavy traffic during weekday commute hours. If city driving feels intimidating, book RV delivery to your campground, or practice in a large empty parking lot first. Sunset views from nearby Wildcat Canyon ridges are worth the drive.
