The RV was fantastic and Josh was a great host! We were his first booking and you never would’ve known. He was super thorough in the walk-around going through the RV and the intricacies of the truck (it has air brakes!). Once on the road, it was super easy to drive, if you can say that about a 36’ Super C! The air ride seat made it really comfy and the adaptive cruise made it super easy to navigate from the driver side. And the kids and wife loved the onboard generator to watch TV, heat up some food, use the restroom, and even sleep while en route to our destination. When it’s time for another adventure, we’ll definitely be reaching out to Josh to rent again! Highly recommend Josh and his RV.

This was a wonderful experience. We camped in beach areas as well as wooded by a lake and this van was comfortable, reliable and REALLY easy to drive. We went to Atlanta, also, to the aquarium and navigating the city was easy as pie in this thing. The owners are INCREDIBLY nice and the communication is some of the best I’ve ever seen across things like this app, AirBnB, etc. Great people, great van, great experience.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Peachtree Corners?

Good news, a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Peachtree Corners. Georgia's Department of Driver Services (DDS) specifically exempts recreational vehicles from Commercial Driver's License (CDL) requirements, so your standard Class C license covers every Class B campervan, Class C motorhome, and travel trailer on the RVezy marketplace. The only requirement on RVezy is that the primary driver be at least 25 years old with a valid license, which you'll confirm through the platform during booking. Visiting from another country? Is RV rental insurance and protection included for a Peachtree Corners RV trip?

Every RVezy booking in Peachtree Corners automatically includes a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can focus on the fun parts of your trip instead of worrying about the what-ifs. What's the cancellation policy if my plans change?

Booking an RV rental in Peachtree Corners is low-risk because RVezy (not individual hosts) sets the cancellation policy, including a money-back grace period right after you book. That means you can lock in your dates with confidence, even months ahead of a busy fall-foliage trip to the North Georgia mountains. Cancellation outcomes depend on how close to your trip start you cancel and on special circumstances like natural disasters or hurricane evacuations, which are common considerations for Georgia travelers. For full details, check the cancellation section of the RVezy Help Center before you book. Pro tip: book early, you can always adjust, and the best Atlanta-area RVs go fast for spring break and Masters week.

You'll also have direct contact with your host, who knows their RV inside and out and can troubleshoot anything system-specific by phone. RVezy customer support is available before, during, and after your trip too. Pro tip: save the RVezy roadside number in your phone before you leave Peachtree Corners, it takes 30 seconds and brings instant peace of mind.

Can I take the RV out of Georgia or across state lines?

Yes, an RV road trip from Peachtree Corners across state lines is one of the best parts of renting on RVezy. Most hosts allow travel throughout the continental U.S., putting Tennessee's Smoky Mountains (about 3 hours north), the Carolinas, Florida's Gulf and Atlantic beaches, and Alabama's Gulf Shores all within easy reach. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage doesn't extend there. Cross-border trips to Canada may be allowed by some hosts but require advance approval, so message the host before booking if that's your plan. Pro tip: a popular 7-day loop from Peachtree Corners is Atlanta to Asheville to Charleston to Savannah and back, all reachable in 4-5 hours of driving each leg.

What kind of fuel mileage should I budget for, and how much is gas in Georgia?

Budgeting fuel for your Peachtree Corners RV trip is straightforward. Class A motorhomes average 7-10 mpg, Class C motorhomes around 10-14 mpg, Class B campervans 18-22 mpg, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle (usually 10-14 mpg combined). Georgia consistently has some of the lower gas prices in the Southeast, with plenty of stations along I-85, I-285, and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard right near Peachtree Corners. Propane and dump-station fees are minimal extras. Pro tip: fill up in Georgia before crossing into Florida or the Carolinas, and use apps like GasBuddy to find the cheapest diesel near the I-85 corridor on your way out of town.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Peachtree Corners?

Georgia State Parks (like Don Carter on Lake Lanier and Red Top Mountain) take reservations up to 13 months in advance through the Georgia State Parks reservation system. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds on Lake Lanier, including Bald Ridge Creek and Shoal Creek, book on Recreation.gov and fill 4-6 months ahead for summer and fall weekends. Private parks like Stone Mountain Campground and Margaritaville at Lanier Islands often have last-minute availability. Pro tip: set a Campnab alert for sold-out Georgia State Parks, cancellations happen often and you can snag prime lake sites that way.

What are the driving conditions like around Peachtree Corners and metro Atlanta?

Driving an RV around Peachtree Corners is very manageable if you time it right. Peachtree Corners sits just inside I-285 (the Perimeter) in Gwinnett County, so the main thing to plan around is Atlanta rush hour, roughly 7-9 a.m. and 4-7 p.m. on weekdays. Leave the metro area mid-morning or after 7 p.m. and traffic eases significantly. Watch for low clearances in older parts of Atlanta (some downtown underpasses are under 12 feet) and stick to interstates with RVs. Roads are well-maintained and mostly flat in the metro, with rolling terrain starting north toward the Blue Ridge. Pro tip: choose a host who offers delivery if you want to skip the in-town driving entirely.

All Georgia State Park campgrounds have dump stations, with most sites offering water and 30/50-amp electric hookups, hot showers, and laundry. Stone Mountain Park Campground has hundreds of sites with full hookups, Wi-Fi, and a camp store. Bald Ridge Creek and Shoal Creek (both on Lake Lanier) offer waterfront sites with electric and water, plus shared dump stations near the exit. For mid-trip dumps and fresh water on Atlanta's north side, several truck stops along I-85 (like the Pilot in Suwanee) have public dump stations for a small fee. Pro tip: top off fresh water and dump tanks before heading into the North Georgia mountains, services thin out fast past Dahlonega.

How do payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment on RVezy is simple and secure, handled entirely through the platform with a credit card, so you never hand cash to a host. When you book, you'll pay your trip total upfront, including the nightly rate, fees, and your chosen protection plan. A refundable security deposit is held separately before your trip starts and released after dropoff once the host confirms the RV is returned in good condition. Deposit amounts vary by listing and RV value. Pro tip: take date-stamped photos and a quick video of the RV at pickup and dropoff, walking around the exterior and through the interior. It's the easiest way to keep your deposit return smooth and stress-free.
