We had an excellent experience with Jacob’s RV rental. Jacob kept in touch with us on the rental and his arrival time was perfect. The RV was clean and was as described. This was our first RV rental experience and Jacob made it easy for us. No complaints.

Sandy went above and beyond. Leading up to the rental dates she was in communication, making sure we were on the same page. I opted for delivery rather than pickup, and she made sure the rv was delivered early so we could fully enjoy the rental dates. We had a normal issue w the AC (the unit froze) but she was very communicative and helpful until the problem was solved (she suggested to turn it to fan in case the unit was frozen, and it quickly thawed). Always very sweet and courteous, always responsive. My four year old son loved the trailer, was very upset to understand that we had to give it back 😂. Thanks, Sandy!

Fantastic experience! The RV delivery and pick up were easy, the RV was clean and comfortable- our granddaughter loved the top bunk- and Owen communicated effectively, even when I texted him kind of late to ask about the stove. I would highly reccomend Owen!

visitpa.com/things-to-do/camping-rvDo I need a special license to rent an RV in Enola, PA?
Good news: a regular Pennsylvania (or out-of-state) Class C driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Enola, PA. Pennsylvania only requires a non-commercial Class B license for vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating over 26,000 pounds, and virtually every RV available on RVezy, including Class C motorhomes, campervans, travel trailers, and fifth wheels, falls under that limit. You also need to be at least 25 years old, and RVezy verifies your ID securely through the platform during booking. Visiting from another country? Bring your home license plus an International Driving Permit and you are set to roll toward Hershey or Gettysburg.

help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat is the cancellation policy if my Enola RV trip plans change?
Booking an RV rental in Enola is low-risk because RVezy, not the individual host, sets the cancellation policy, and it includes a full money-back grace period after you book. That means if your Hersheypark weekend or Gettysburg getaway shifts, you have clear options. RVezy also reviews special situations like severe weather or natural disasters, which matters in central PA where summer thunderstorms and occasional winter storms can pop up. Pro tip: review the full cancellation details on your booking confirmation, then message your host early if anything changes so you can rebook with confidence.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Enola, PA?
Absolutely. Many RVezy hosts offer pet-friendly RV rentals in Enola, so your dog can ride shotgun to the Appalachian Trail, the Conodoguinet Creek, or the Capital Area Greenbelt. Use the Pet-Friendly filter when you search to see only listings that welcome four-legged guests. Some hosts add a small refundable pet deposit or cleaning fee, which is shown upfront before you book. Nearby, Gifford Pinchot State Park, Little Buffalo State Park, and Hersheypark Camping Resort all welcome leashed pets. Pro tip: pack a long lead and a portable water bowl for the riverside trails in Wormleysburg, just minutes from Enola.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Enola%2C%20PennsylvaniaCan the RV be delivered to my campsite near Enola?
Yes, RV delivery in Enola is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first-time renters. Many local hosts will tow or drive the RV directly to a campground like Harrisburg East Campground, Hersheypark Camping Resort, or Western Village RV Park in Carlisle, then level it, hook up water and power, and walk you through every system. That means you can fly into Harrisburg International Airport (about 15 minutes from Enola), get a ride to the campground, and find your motorhome rental in Enola already set up and waiting. Pro tip: use the Delivery filter and message the host with your campsite number so setup is seamless.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Enola%2C%20PennsylvaniaHow far can I travel on an Enola RV trip, and is unlimited mileage available?
Plenty far. Enola sits near I-81, I-83, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, making it a launchpad for an RV road trip from Enola to destinations like Gettysburg (40 miles), Lancaster Amish Country (55 miles), the Poconos (about 110 miles), Washington, DC (about 130 miles), or Niagara Falls (about 300 miles). Each host sets a daily mileage allowance, typically 100 to 150 free miles per day, and you will occasionally find an RV rental with unlimited mileage that is perfect for longer loops. Pro tip: if you are planning a multi-state trip, filter for unlimited mileage or message the host to pre-purchase a mileage package at a lower per-mile rate.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106674-Understanding-mileage-and-generator-usageWhere are the best campgrounds near Enola, PA?
You're spoiled for choice. All offer electric hookups and most have water and sewer at premium sites. Pro tip: state park sites can be reserved up to 11 months ahead, and they go fast for summer weekends, so lock in your dates early.
pa.gov/agencies/dcnr/recreation/what-to-do/stay-overnight/rv-and-tent-campsites.htmlWhen is the best time of year for RV camping in Enola, PA?
Late April through October is the sweet spot for RV camping in Enola, with the absolute peak being September and early October when fall foliage along the Susquehanna River turns brilliant red and gold. Summers run hot and humid with highs in the mid-80s°F and frequent afternoon thunderstorms, while spring brings mild 60s°F days perfect for hiking the Appalachian Trail near Boiling Springs. Winters are cool with occasional snow, and a handful of hosts keep winterized rigs available for off-season trips. Pro tip: book a shoulder-season trip in May or late September for lower rates, fewer crowds at Hersheypark, and gorgeous weather across central PA.
weather.gov/ctp/I've never rented an RV before, will I know what I'm doing?
You'll be in great hands. First time renting an RV in Enola feels surprisingly easy because every RVezy host provides a hands-on walkthrough at pickup, showing you how to operate the slide-outs, fridge, generator, water system, and dump valves. You can also message your host any time before or during your trip with questions, and RVezy customer support plus 24/7 roadside assistance are just a phone call away. Many first-timers choose a smaller Class C motorhome or a delivered travel trailer for their initial Pennsylvania trip. Pro tip: ask your host to record a short video of the walkthrough on your phone so you can replay any step at the campsite.
pa.gov/agencies/dcnr/recreation/what-to-do/stay-overnight/rv-and-tent-campsites.htmlWhat happens if I have a breakdown or issue on the road?
You are never stranded. Every RV rental in Enola, PA, comes with 24/7 roadside assistance included in your RVezy protection plan, covering services like tire changes, jump starts, lockouts, and towing to the nearest qualified repair shop. If something happens on I-81 toward Scranton or on Route 15 toward Gettysburg, one phone call connects you with help fast. Your host is also a great resource for questions about quirks specific to their RV. Pro tip: save the RVezy support number and your host number in your phone before you leave Enola, and snap photos of the RV at pickup so any small issue is easy to document.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I take my Enola RV rental across state lines or into Canada?
Yes, interstate travel is welcome on most RV rentals Pennsylvania hosts list on RVezy, so you can confidently plan a route through Maryland, New York, West Virginia, New Jersey, or down to Washington, DC. Many hosts also allow trips into Canada with advance notice so the proper insurance documentation can be arranged, just message the host before booking to confirm. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because coverage does not extend there. Popular multi-state loops from Enola include the Civil War Trail through Gettysburg and Antietam, or a Finger Lakes run up to Watkins Glen. Pro tip: share your route with your host so they can flag any size restrictions along the way.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityWhat kind of fuel mileage and gas budget should I plan for?
Plan smart and your fuel budget stays totally manageable. A Class C motorhome rental in Enola typically gets 8 to 12 MPG, a travel trailer pulled by a truck gets roughly 10 to 14 MPG combined, and a campervan rental in Enola can stretch to 18 to 22 MPG. Pennsylvania gas prices usually run a bit above the national average, so for a 300-mile weekend loop to Gettysburg and Lancaster, expect to spend roughly $90 to $140 on fuel in a Class C. Pro tip: fill up at the Costco or Sam's Club just across the river in Harrisburg before heading out, and use the GasBuddy app to find cheaper stations along Route 22 and I-81.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campground near Enola?
Earlier is better, but you have options. Pennsylvania state parks like Gifford Pinchot, Little Buffalo, and Colonel Denning open campsite reservations up to 11 months in advance through the official Pennsylvania State Parks reservation system, and summer weekends plus fall foliage dates fill up quickly after release. Private parks like Hersheypark Camping Resort and Western Village RV Park usually book 2 to 4 months ahead for peak weekends. For mid-week stays, you can often find sites within a week or two of your trip. Pro tip: if a state park is full, check back the morning of arrival because no-shows free up sites by noon, perfect for a flexible Enola RV trip.
pennsylvaniastateparks.reserveamerica.com/What are driving conditions like around Enola and central PA?
Driving an RV around Enola is refreshingly manageable. Most local roads are wide, well-paved, and built for the trucking traffic that funnels through the Harrisburg corridor. Keep a few classics in mind: the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) is a toll road, so make sure your host RV has an E-ZPass or plan to pay by plate; some older bridges across the Susquehanna have height restrictions, so know your RV clearance; and the rolling Appalachian terrain along I-81 brings long, gentle grades rather than steep mountain passes. Pro tip: avoid I-83 through downtown Harrisburg between 4 and 6 PM on weekdays by taking Route 11/15 along the river instead, much prettier too.

Local parks like Harrisburg East Campground, Hersheypark Camping Resort, and Western Village RV Park typically offer 30 and 50-amp electric, water hookups, and full sewer at premium sites, plus shared bathhouses, laundry, Wi-Fi, and dump stations. State parks like Gifford Pinchot have modern restrooms with hot showers, electric sites, and a few full-hookup spots, with potable water fill stations near the entrance. Most have a camp store for ice, propane, and firewood. Pro tip: the dump station at Harrisburg East is conveniently located so you can empty tanks on your way home without backtracking.

Wi-Fi hotspots and solar panels are increasingly common upgrades. Pro tip: read the listing amenity list carefully and message the host if a specific feature matters, like a backup camera for first-time drivers or a king bed for taller travelers, before you confirm your booking.

Mileage policies vary by host, with most offering 100 to 150 miles per day free and extra miles charged per mile. Pro tip: book linens and a propane refill as add-ons so you arrive at Hersheypark or Gettysburg ready to relax, not run errands.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Enola%2C%20PennsylvaniaHow does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
Payment is simple and secure. When you book an RV rental in Enola, PA, you pay through the RVezy secure platform using a credit card, with no cash exchanged with the host. Most bookings split into an initial payment at booking and a balance due before the trip. A refundable security deposit is held on your card shortly before pickup and released after the trip once the RV is returned in the same condition. Pro tip: take a quick video walk-around at pickup and drop-off so any pre-existing scuffs are documented, making the deposit refund quick and stress-free after your central PA adventure.
