We had a fantastic experience with Obi’s RV. It is a great RV, in excellent condition and really easy to drive and stay in. It is comfortable and spacious and Obi’s communication was excellent. Both he and his wife are lovely people and were incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole experience from booking through to return. I would highly recommend.

Far and away a better experience than we could have hoped for. Sassy was the PERFECT RV for us. Very clean, adequate space (2 adults and a dog), well stocked with useful items and just all around fantastic. We traveled from CT to West Virginia, the trip just wouldn't have been the same without such comfortable accommodations. The couple was informative and incredibly flexible and accommodating with our unique schedule. We truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. We're already beginning to plan our next trip with Sassy. Thanks so much!!

Kim was an excellent host-friendly, responsive, and made the rental process smooth from start to finish. The Pleasure-Way Sprinter was spotless, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. It drove beautifully, was easy to park, and had all the amenities we could ask for. Highly recommend renting from Kim -you can tell she takes pride in both her RV and her guests' experience.

Hibiscus was amazing! It was nice and clean when we rented it and was fully stocked with everything you would need while camping dished, cookwares, silverware, and even chairs and an outdoor rug! Gary and his wife made sure that we would have a great trip. It was super easy to hook it up and the camp grounds. It drove great and was easier than expected and got even better gas mileage than we expected. I will most definitely be booking with Gary again in the future!

RV rental in Yorkshire is more affordable than most people expect, with travel trailers averaging around $125 per night and motorhomes near $200 per night across the Manassas and Prince William County area. Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Yorkshire, VA?

Good news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Yorkshire, VA, even for a big Class A motorhome. The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) specifically exempts recreational vehicles used for personal purposes from Commercial Driver's License (CDL) requirements, regardless of weight. You'll need to be 25 or older with a valid license, and RVezy will verify your ID right inside the booking flow. Visiting from abroad? When is the best time to rent an RV in Yorkshire, VA?

Yorkshire enjoys a humid subtropical climate, so the sweet spot for an RV trip is mid-April through early June and again from September through late October, when daytime highs sit comfortably in the 65 to 80°F range and humidity drops. Summer (June to August) is popular but hot and sticky with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s, perfect if you want lake swimming at Lake Anna State Park. Fall foliage along Skyline Drive peaks in mid-to-late October. Winter rentals are quieter and cheaper, with daytime highs in the 40s, just confirm the RV has a working furnace before booking. Pro tip: October weekends sell out fastest, so book your Shenandoah-bound rental by August.

What should I budget for fuel on a Yorkshire, VA RV trip?

Fuel is usually the biggest variable cost, so here's a real-world estimate for your Yorkshire RV trip. Class C motorhomes average 8 to 12 miles per gallon (MPG), Class A's run 6 to 10 MPG, and a truck towing a travel trailer typically gets 10 to 14 MPG. Virginia gas prices tend to run slightly below the national average. A round trip from Yorkshire to Shenandoah (about 130 miles) will burn roughly 12 to 18 gallons in a typical Class C. Pro tip: fill up at Costco or Sam's Club in Manassas before heading west, prices on Skyline Drive and in mountain towns run noticeably higher.

What's driving an RV in the Yorkshire and DC metro area really like?

Yorkshire sits in the busy Northern Virginia suburbs, so a little planning makes driving an RV here easy. Avoid I-66 inside the Beltway during weekday rush hour (6 to 9 AM and 3 to 7 PM), when HOV restrictions and tolls apply to the express lanes. Stick to Prince William Parkway, Route 28, and US-29 for local errands. Headed to Shenandoah? Take I-66 west outside rush hour for a smooth 1-hour drive. The terrain in Yorkshire itself is flat and easy, and most highway overpasses clear 13'6" comfortably. Pro tip: if city driving makes you nervous, book a host who delivers, your RV arrives at the campground already parked and ready.

What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Yorkshire, VA?

Local campgrounds offer a great range of amenities. Bull Run Regional Park has full hookups (water, electric, sewer), a dump station, hot showers, and seasonal water park access. Prince William Forest Park's Oak Ridge Campground is a more rustic National Park Service site with potable water fill and a dump station; sites do not have individual hookups. Cherry Hill Park near DC offers premium amenities including WiFi, two pools, and a dog park. Pro tip: if you are staying somewhere without sewer hookups, plan a dump-station stop on your way home or use the free dump at Bull Run.

What's included inside the RV I'll rent in Yorkshire?

Most RVs available for rent in Yorkshire come fully equipped for a turn-key trip. Expect a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, and basic cookware, a bathroom with toilet and shower, sleeping for 2 to 10 depending on the rig, and a furnace plus air conditioning to handle Virginia's seasonal swings. Larger Class A and C motorhomes often include a generator, TV, and outdoor speakers, while many campervans and travel trailers offer solar power. Seatbelts are provided for all designated travel passengers. Pro tip: check the listing's amenity list for WiFi hotspots, outdoor showers, and bike racks, then message the host to confirm linens and kitchen kits are included so you don't overpack.

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment on RVezy is simple and secure: you pay through the platform with a credit or debit card when you book, and your funds are held by RVezy until your trip starts so there is no cash exchange with the host.
