Carlos went out of his way to make everything work. It was an especially crowded weekend in Miami with a lot of traffic, and Carlos delivered the RV like a professional. The RV itself, is extremely accommodating. Our favorite part where the wonderful meals we had. My family really enjoyed it. Everything was as described or better. It came with bedding, and everything you need for a wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly clean, and smelled good, etc. Don't take that for granted, sometimes RVs have a little smell to them. Carlos keeps this one smelling fantastic. It was clean, it was nice, and I would highly recommend.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Broadview Park, Florida?

Good news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Broadview Park, Florida. The state of Florida does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or any special RV endorsement for personal motorhomes or trailers, regardless of size. You'll need to be 25 or older, and RVezy verifies your ID right through the platform during booking, so there's no extra paperwork. Visiting from abroad? Pick up an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your home country's auto association before you fly in. Most first-time renters are surprised how simple the process is, and your host will walk you through everything at pickup.

Is RV rental insurance and roadside assistance included?

Yes, every RV rental in Broadview Park includes an RVezy renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit the road with peace of mind. You choose your protection level at checkout, not the host, so you decide how much coverage you want for things like accidental damage during your trip. South Florida afternoon thunderstorms can be intense from June through September, and knowing roadside help is one call away makes drives along I-595 or US-27 toward the Everglades a lot more relaxing.

What happens if I need to cancel my Broadview Park RV rental?

Booking is low-risk because RVezy sets the cancellation policy, not the host. Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance you cancel and the circumstances, including weather events like hurricanes, which matters in South Florida during the June 1 to November 30 Atlantic hurricane season. If a named storm threatens your travel dates, RVezy support helps you sort out next steps. Book early for spring break and major Florida events, then relax knowing the cancellation terms are clearly defined on the platform.

Can I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Broadview Park?

Absolutely, pet-friendly RV rental in Broadview Park is easy to find using the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy. Plenty of local hosts welcome dogs, and South Florida is a fantastic place to travel with pets thanks to year-round warm weather and beach-friendly trails. Take your pup to Markham Park in nearby Sunrise, which has a dedicated off-leash dog park and shaded RV-friendly day-use areas, or head to Snyder Park in Fort Lauderdale, one of the few South Florida parks with a fenced dog beach. Pro tip: message the host before booking to confirm pet fees, then pack a cooling mat since Broward summer pavement gets hot fast.

Can the RV be delivered to my campground or home in Broadview Park?

Yes, RV delivery in Broadview Park is offered by many hosts, and it's hands-down the easiest way to start your trip, especially if you're a first-time renter. Your host can drive the motorhome or travel trailer right to your campground, vacation rental driveway, or a Broward County RV park, then level it, hook up water and power, and give you a full walkthrough before handing over the keys. Use the Delivery filter to see hosts who offer this service, and check their listing for the delivery radius and fee. Pro tip: delivery to Markham Park or Topeekeegee Yugnee Park in Hollywood is a popular option because you skip city driving entirely.

How far can I drive on a Broadview Park RV trip?

You can go as far as your itinerary allows, and Broadview Park's location at the intersection of I-595, the Florida Turnpike, and US-441 makes it one of the best launch points in the state. Many hosts offer 100 to 150 free miles per night, and some list RV rental with unlimited mileage for road-trippers. From Broadview Park, the Everglades National Park Shark Valley entrance is about 35 miles west, Key Largo is roughly 60 miles south, Naples is 105 miles via Alligator Alley, and Orlando theme parks are about 215 miles north. Pro tip: filter listings by mileage policy and message hosts about custom mileage packages for longer Florida loops.

Where are the best campgrounds near Broadview Park for RV camping?

You're spoiled for choice with RV camping near Broadview Park. Markham Park in Sunrise (about 6 miles west) offers full-hookup sites, a shooting range, mountain bike trails, and a target sport range right on the edge of the Everglades. C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines (around 7 miles south) has 60 paved RV sites with full hookups and a water park onsite. Topeekeegee Yugnee (T.Y.) Park in Hollywood is great for families with a lake beach and water playground. For an Everglades adventure, Midway Campground on Tamiami Trail is about 50 miles west. Pro tip: Broward County parks open reservations 11 months out and winter dates fill up fast.

When is the best time of year for an RV trip from Broadview Park?

The sweet spot for an RV trip from Broadview Park is mid-November through April, when daytime temperatures sit between 70 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit, humidity drops, and mosquitoes ease up, perfect for Everglades exploring. December through March is peak snowbird season, so book early. May through October brings hot, humid days in the upper 80s and 90s with frequent afternoon thunderstorms and the Atlantic hurricane season from June 1 to November 30. The trade-off is significantly lower rates and quieter campgrounds. Pro tip: late October and early November often deliver perfect weather with shoulder-season pricing, making it the smart-money window for a South Florida RV trip.

I'm a first-time renter, will I know how to drive and operate the RV?

You've got this, and you won't be left to figure it out alone. Every host on RVezy provides a hands-on orientation at pickup or delivery, walking you through driving tips, slide-outs, generator, water systems, and waste tanks before you head off. If it's your first time renting an RV, a Class C motorhome or a delivered travel trailer is the easiest setup for South Florida roads. Stick to wider routes like I-75 Alligator Alley or the Florida Turnpike, and avoid narrow neighborhood streets in older Broward areas. Pro tip: hosts respond by message anytime during your trip, so help is always a text away if a question pops up at the campground.

What happens if the RV breaks down during my trip?

You are covered around the clock. Every booking from Broadview Park includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the RVezy protection plan, so if you get a flat on I-595, a dead battery at Markham Park, or an engine issue on Alligator Alley, one phone call gets help dispatched to your location. Your host is also reachable through the app for quick troubleshooting, and RVezy support is on standby for anything bigger. Snap a photo of your RV's roadside assistance card and save your host's number in your phone before you pull away from pickup.

Can I take my RV from Broadview Park to other states or into the Keys?

Yes, most hosts allow interstate travel, making Broadview Park a great base for a Florida RV road trip. Popular routes include the Florida Keys via US-1 to Key Largo (about 60 miles), Marathon (about 110 miles), and Key West (about 160 miles), the Gulf Coast via Alligator Alley to Naples and Sanibel (105 to 140 miles), Orlando theme parks (about 215 miles north), and Savannah, Georgia (about 425 miles). Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage does not extend there. Cross-border travel into Canada may be possible with host approval. Message the host directly from the listing page to confirm your route, especially for the Seven Mile Bridge run into the Keys.

What should I budget for fuel on a Florida RV trip?

Fuel is one of the easier line items to plan in Florida because gas is widely available and prices stay near the national average, typically $3.20 to $3.80 per gallon in the Broadview Park area. Class B campervans get 18 to 22 miles per gallon (MPG), Class C motorhomes average 10 to 14 MPG, and larger Class A coaches run 7 to 10 MPG. A round trip to Key West (about 320 miles) in a Class C burns roughly 25 to 30 gallons. Pro tip: fuel up at the Pilot or Love's near Krome Avenue before heading into the Everglades, since stations get sparse west of Miramar on US-41.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/

How far in advance should I book a campground near Broadview Park?

For the best sites, book your campground as soon as your RV rental in Broadview Park is confirmed, ideally three to six months out for winter and four to eleven months ahead for holidays. Broward County Parks (Markham, C.B. Smith, T.Y. Park) take reservations up to 11 months in advance through their online portal and sell out December through March. Florida State Parks like John Pennekamp Coral Reef in Key Largo open bookings 11 months out at 8 a.m. Eastern, and prime sites disappear within minutes. National park sites in the Everglades book through Recreation.gov. Pro tip: set a calendar reminder for 11 months before your target arrival date and book the moment the window opens.

What are driving conditions like around Broadview Park?

Driving around Broadview Park is straightforward once you know the rhythm. The area sits just off I-595 and State Road 7 (US-441), with easy access to the Florida Turnpike and I-75. Rush hour on I-95 and I-595 runs 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6:30 p.m., so plan departures around it. Watch for low clearances under some older overpasses east toward Fort Lauderdale Beach (some are under 12 feet), and stay on truck-friendly routes like I-75 Alligator Alley. Summer afternoon thunderstorms can dump heavy rain in minutes. Pro tip: if city driving makes you nervous, book delivery and let your host handle the highway portion, you start fresh at the campground.

What amenities do campgrounds near Broadview Park offer?

South Florida campgrounds are well-equipped for any RV. Markham Park, C.B. Smith Park, and T.Y. Park all offer full hookups (water, 30/50-amp electric, sewer), paved pads, Wi-Fi at many sites, and onsite dump stations. Markham Park has a dump station open to the public for a small fee, and most Broward County parks include potable water fill stations near the entrance. Everglades campgrounds like Midway and Long Pine Key have more basic facilities, so top off water and dump before heading west. Pro tip: keep a 25-foot drinking-water hose and a 30-to-50 amp adapter onboard, since hookups vary slightly between Broward parks and Florida State Parks.

What features come with RV rentals in Broadview Park?

Broadview Park motorhome rentals come ready for Florida living. Expect a queen or king bed, full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, and sink, a wet bath or full bathroom with shower, roof and dash air conditioning (essential for South Florida), a flat-screen TV, and seatbelted seating for travel. Most Class C and Class A rentals include a generator for boondocking, and many hosts add Wi-Fi hotspots, outdoor grills, beach chairs, and bike racks. Travel trailers typically sleep 4 to 8 with bunk options for family RV trip Broadview Park bookings. Pro tip: check the listing's add-ons section, kayak racks and snorkel gear are popular extras for trips to Key Largo or the Everglades.
visitflorida.com/travel-ideas/

How do mileage, pickup, and add-ons work for my rental?

Hosts set their own mileage allowance, pickup window, and add-on menu, and it is all spelled out on the listing before you book. Typical mileage policies offer 100 to 150 free miles per night with extra miles at $0.30 to $0.45 each, and some listings advertise RV rental with unlimited mileage for road-trippers. Common add-ons in Broadview Park include delivery and setup, generator hours, bedding and kitchen kits, propane refill, and final cleaning. Pickup is usually a one-hour window at the host's address or your chosen delivery spot. If you are planning a Key West loop, ask about a flat-rate mileage upgrade since hosts often discount it for trips over 500 miles.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Broadview%20Park%2C%20Florida

How does payment and the security deposit work?

Payment is simple and secure: you pay through RVezy at checkout with a credit or debit card, and your booking total covers the nightly rate, service fee, your chosen protection plan, and any host add-ons. A refundable security deposit is held separately a few days before pickup, typically $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV's size and value, and it is released back to you after the trip wraps up cleanly. To avoid issues, do a thorough walk-around video at pickup and dropoff, return the RV with the agreed fuel and propane levels, and follow the host's cleaning expectations.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-works

How do I handle summer heat in a South Florida RV rental?

South Florida summers are hot and humid, but your RV is built for it. Class C and Class A motorhomes have ducted roof AC plus dash air, and most travel trailers in Broadview Park come with 13,500 to 15,000 BTU air conditioners that handle 90-degree days easily when plugged into 30 or 50-amp shore power. Drive in the morning to avoid afternoon thunderstorms, park with the awning side facing east for shade by lunchtime, and keep the fridge stocked the day before to reduce cool-down load. Pro tip: book a full-hookup site at C.B. Smith Park or Markham Park so you can run AC nonstop, then cool off at the onsite water park or lake beach.
