Carlos went out of his way to make everything work. It was an especially crowded weekend in Miami with a lot of traffic, and Carlos delivered the RV like a professional. The RV itself, is extremely accommodating. Our favorite part where the wonderful meals we had. My family really enjoyed it. Everything was as described or better. It came with bedding, and everything you need for a wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly clean, and smelled good, etc. Don't take that for granted, sometimes RVs have a little smell to them. Carlos keeps this one smelling fantastic. It was clean, it was nice, and I would highly recommend.

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Pembroke Park, FL?

What license do I need to rent an RV in Pembroke Park?

Good news: a regular Class E Florida driver's license (or your standard license from any US state or Canadian province) is all you need to rent an RV in Pembroke Park. Florida does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or any special endorsement for motorhomes or travel trailers used recreationally, even for big Class A coaches. To book on RVezy, the approved driver generally needs to be 25 or older, and your ID and license are verified through the platform during checkout. Visiting from overseas? Pick up an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your home country auto club before you fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, and you're set to hit the road.

Is RV rental in Pembroke Park covered by insurance and roadside assistance?

Yes. Every RV rental in Pembroke Park booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can pull out of the driveway with real peace of mind. The protection plan covers most physical damage to the vehicle during your trip, and you choose the level of coverage that fits you best at checkout (the renter selects the plan, not the host). If a tire blows on I-95 or the fridge stops cooling at your campsite, one call to RVezy support gets help dispatched. Coverage details and exclusions are outlined on the RVezy insurance and protection page so you know exactly what's included before you book.

What is the cancellation policy if my Pembroke Park trip plans change?

Booking is low-risk. RVezy sets the cancellation policy (it isn't host-defined), and it includes a money-back grace period right after you book so you can lock in your dates with confidence. Because Pembroke Park sits in hurricane country between June and November, qualifying major weather events and certain other disruptions may also be considered for refunds or credits. You can review the full guest cancellation policy on the RVezy Help Center before booking, and the support team is available before, during, and after your trip if plans shift. Pro tip: book early for Everglades or Florida Keys trips in winter, then relax knowing flexibility is built in.

Once you arrive, you'll love nearby spots like Brian Piccolo Park's dog area in Cooper City, Snyder Park's off-leash area in Fort Lauderdale, and the designated dog-friendly hours at Hollywood Dog Beach. Pro tip: message the host before booking to confirm any pet fee and breed details, and pack a portable water bowl, Florida humidity is no joke for furry travelers.

Can the RV be delivered to my campground or hotel in Pembroke Park?

Yes. RV delivery in Pembroke Park is widely available, and it's the secret weapon for first-timers. Many RVezy hosts will drive the motorhome or trailer to your chosen campground or vacation rental, level it, hook up power and water, and walk you through every system before handing over the keys. Popular drop-off spots include Topeekeegee Yugnee (T.Y.) Park in Hollywood, C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, and Markham Park in Sunrise. Filter by Delivery on RVezy to see hosts who offer it, then message them for a delivery quote based on miles. It's the easiest way to skip city driving entirely and start your trip relaxed.

How far can I drive on a Pembroke Park RV trip, and what's the mileage policy?

You've got tons of range from Pembroke Park, which sits between the Everglades, the Florida Keys, and the Space Coast. Each host sets their own mileage allowance, so you'll see options ranging from around 100 miles per night to RV rental with unlimited mileage right on the listing page. For reference, Key Largo is about 70 miles south, Key West is around 160 miles, the main Everglades National Park entrance near Homestead is about 50 miles, Naples is roughly 110 miles across Alligator Alley, and Kennedy Space Center is about 200 miles north. Pro tip: if you're planning a longer RV road trip from Pembroke Park, filter for unlimited mileage listings so you can roam Florida without watching the odometer.

Where are the best campgrounds near Pembroke Park to park my RV?

You're spoiled for choice with great campgrounds within an easy drive of Pembroke Park. Top picks include Topeekeegee Yugnee (T.Y.) Park in Hollywood (about 5 minutes away, with a lake and water playground), C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines (full hookups, about 10 minutes away), Markham Park in Sunrise (target shooting, mountain biking, about 20 minutes), Larry and Penny Thompson Park near Zoo Miami (about 35 minutes south), and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo (about an hour south with snorkeling right offshore). All offer water, electric, and dump stations. Pro tip: Broward County parks book up fast in winter, so reserve as soon as your RV camping Pembroke Park dates are confirmed.

When is the best time to visit Pembroke Park in an RV?

Pembroke Park is a true year-round RV destination, but the sweet spot runs from mid-November through April, when daytime highs typically sit in the mid-70s to low-80s F, humidity drops, and mosquitoes ease up. This is peak snowbird season, so campgrounds book early. May and October are smart shoulder months: temps in the mid-80s, lower nightly rates, and quieter beaches. Summer (June to September) brings highs around 90 F, afternoon thunderstorms, and Atlantic hurricane season (June 1 to November 30), but RV air conditioning makes it manageable and prices drop sharply. Pro tip: January and February are gorgeous, book a campervan rental in Pembroke Park early for the best weather-to-value ratio.

I've never rented an RV before, will I be okay in Pembroke Park?

You're going to do great. First time renting an RV in Pembroke Park is easier than most people expect. Every RVezy host gives you a hands-on orientation at pickup, walking you through the generator, slide-outs, propane, water systems, and dump procedures. You can message your host any time before, during, or after the trip with questions, and RVezy's support team is available 24/7. For your first trip, consider a Class B campervan or small Class C, they drive much like a large SUV or van. Pro tip: book a delivery host who sets up at T.Y. Park or C.B. Smith Park, you can skip driving the rig entirely and just enjoy the vacation.

What happens if my motorhome rental in Pembroke Park breaks down on the road?

You're never on your own. Every motorhome rental in Pembroke Park booked on RVezy includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, covering flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, tows, and mechanical breakdowns. One phone call dispatches help whether you're parked near Miami Beach, crossing Alligator Alley toward Naples, or camped near Flamingo in Everglades National Park. Your host is also available by message for quick questions like generator quirks or appliance tips. Pro tip: save the RVezy support number in your phone before you leave the driveway so it's one tap away if you ever need it.

Can I take my Pembroke Park RV rental to other states or the Bahamas?

Yes, interstate travel within the continental United States is generally allowed, so a road trip up to Savannah, the Smokies, or even New England is fair game (just confirm any mileage cap and out-of-state travel with your host before booking). Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals due to insurance limitations, and the Bahamas isn't reachable by road. Popular multi-state routes include Pembroke Park to St. Augustine (about 5 hours), Pembroke Park to Charleston (about 10 hours), and the A1A coastal run up to Amelia Island. Pro tip: message the host directly from the listing page if you're planning a longer cross-state itinerary so expectations are clear.

What kind of fuel economy and gas budget should I plan for?

Plan realistically and you'll have zero surprises. Class B campervans typically get around 18 to 22 MPG, Class C motorhomes average 8 to 12 MPG, Class A coaches sit around 6 to 10 MPG, and travel trailer mileage depends on your tow vehicle. Florida gas prices generally track close to the national average, with cheaper fill-ups often found at warehouse club stations in Pembroke Pines and Hollywood, plus Wawa locations along US-1. For a 4-night RV camping trip from Pembroke Park with day drives to the Everglades and Upper Keys (around 400 total miles), budget roughly $120 to $200 in fuel for a Class C. Pro tip: fuel up before crossing into the Keys, prices typically jump south of Florida City.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Pembroke Park?

For winter trips (December through April), book your campsite as early as possible. Florida State Parks open reservations 11 months in advance through their official reservation system, and prime spots at John Pennekamp, Bahia Honda, and Long Key can vanish within minutes. Broward County parks like T.Y. Park and C.B. Smith use the county's own reservation system and tend to open about a year ahead. For summer and shoulder seasons, 2 to 4 weeks is usually plenty. Pro tip: if a sold-out park is on your must-stay list, check the reservation site daily, cancellations get released and snapped up fast. Then lock in your RV rental in Pembroke Park dates to match.
floridastateparks.org/learn/reservations

What are driving conditions like around Pembroke Park?

Pembroke Park is flat and near sea level with no mountain passes or icy bridges to worry about. The main routes are I-95 (busy, stay in the right lanes in an RV), Florida's Turnpike (smoother and less crowded but tolled, your RV will need SunPass or the rental's transponder), and US-1. Avoid the I-95 / I-595 interchange during 7 to 9 AM and 4 to 7 PM rush hours. Hurricane season afternoon thunderstorms can be intense but brief, pull off safely and wait them out. Watch height clearance on older bridges in Fort Lauderdale. Pro tip: leave Pembroke Park before 9 AM heading to the Keys, US-1 narrows to a single lane and crawls by mid-morning.
fdot.gov/traffic

What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Pembroke Park?

Most campgrounds within an hour of Pembroke Park offer excellent amenities. Full hookups (water, 30/50 amp electric, sewer) are standard at C.B. Smith Park, T.Y. Park, and Markham Park, and all three have on-site dump stations and potable water fill if you're staying somewhere without sewer. State parks like John Pennekamp and Long Key typically offer water and electric plus centralized dump stations. Expect clean restrooms, hot showers, laundry, Wi-Fi (variable), and usually a camp store. Pro tip: if you need to dump and refill on the way back to return the RV, large truck stops along I-95 north of Pembroke Park offer public dump stations and propane, a perfect last stop before handoff.
broward.org/Parks/CBSmithPark/Pages/Default.aspx

What features and amenities come standard in a Pembroke Park RV rental?

You'll be impressed, even budget-friendly RVs on RVezy come well-equipped for Florida heat and humidity. Expect a real bed (or two), a full kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave, propane stove, and sink, an indoor bathroom with toilet and shower, roof-mounted air conditioning (essential here), and seatbelted seating for 4 to 8 people. Many listings include a TV, some offer Wi-Fi hotspots, and generators are common on Class C and Class A rigs for boondocking near the Everglades. Linens, kitchenware, and outdoor chairs are often included or available as add-ons, check the listing's amenities section to confirm. Pro tip: confirm the AC's BTU rating in the listing description, a strong 13,500 BTU or higher unit makes a huge difference in July.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Pembroke%20Park%2C%20Florida

What add-ons and pickup options are available with my Pembroke Park rental?

Hosts in Pembroke Park offer some of the most convenient add-ons on the platform. Common options include linens and towel packages, kitchen kits, beach chairs and coolers, paddleboards and kayaks (huge in South Florida), portable Wi-Fi hotspots, generators, bike racks, and even baby gear like Pack 'n Plays. Many hosts also offer Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) and Miami International (MIA) airport pickup, plus full delivery and setup at your campsite. Mileage allowances vary, look for unlimited mileage listings if you're planning Keys-and-back day trips. Pro tip: bundle delivery, setup, and pickup for the easiest first-timer experience, you literally walk into a ready-to-camp RV.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Pembroke%20Park%2C%20Florida

How does payment and the security deposit work?

Payment is simple and secure, everything goes through RVezy's platform, so you never hand cash to a host. You pay the rental total plus any add-ons at booking using a credit or debit card. A refundable security deposit is authorized separately from the booking payment, with the amount set per listing depending on the RV class. As long as you return the RV in the condition you got it, with the agreed mileage and a clean tank if required, the deposit is released back to your card after the trip. Pro tip: do a quick walkaround video at pickup and dropoff, it protects everyone and keeps your deposit return drama-free for your next RV rental Florida adventure.

Is Pembroke Park a good base for a family RV trip with kids?

It's one of the best in South Florida for a family RV trip. From Pembroke Park you're about 10 minutes from Hollywood Beach's walkable Broadwalk, 25 minutes from Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, around 30 minutes from Miami's beaches and the Wynwood Walls, and under an hour from Everglades airboat tours. Family-favorite campgrounds include T.Y. Park (with its Castaway Island water playground), C.B. Smith Park (water park, mini golf, paddleboats), and Markham Park (target range and bike trails for older kids). Most RVezy rentals sleep 4 to 8 with seatbelted travel seats. Pro tip: book a rig with a bunkhouse layout, kids get their own space and parents get sanity on rainy afternoons.
