Carlos went out of his way to make everything work. It was an especially crowded weekend in Miami with a lot of traffic, and Carlos delivered the RV like a professional. The RV itself, is extremely accommodating. Our favorite part where the wonderful meals we had. My family really enjoyed it. Everything was as described or better. It came with bedding, and everything you need for a wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly clean, and smelled good, etc. Don't take that for granted, sometimes RVs have a little smell to them. Carlos keeps this one smelling fantastic. It was clean, it was nice, and I would highly recommend.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Pembroke Pines, FL

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Pembroke Pines, FL?

An RV rental in Pembroke Pines is one of the most affordable ways to explore South Florida. On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes range from $175 to $275 per night, and larger Class A coaches can run $250 to $400 per night. To find a cheap RV rental in Pembroke Pines, book midweek, travel in the shoulder months (April or November), and sort by price low-to-high. What license do I need to rent an RV in Pembroke Pines?

A standard driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Pembroke Pines, FL. Florida does not require a commercial driver's license (CDL) or any special endorsement for personal-use motorhomes, travel trailers, or campervans available on RVezy. Approved drivers are generally 25 or older, and RVezy verifies your ID securely through the platform during booking, so there is no paperwork hassle at pickup. Visiting from outside the US? An International Driving Permit (IDP) paired with your home license works. Most first-time renters are surprised how simple the process is, leaving more time to plan the fun, like an Everglades day trip.

Can I take my Pembroke Pines RV rental on an RV road trip across state lines or to Mexico?

Interstate road trips are absolutely on the table. An RV road trip from Pembroke Pines easily reaches Orlando (about 220 miles north), the Florida Keys (160 miles south to Key West), Tampa (about 260 miles), or even Savannah, GA (about 470 miles), and most hosts welcome interstate travel within the continental US. Confirm your route with the host through the RVezy message tool before booking. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals, as insurance and protection coverage do not extend across that border. Cross-border trips to Canada may be possible depending on the host, so ask before booking. The Overseas Highway (US-1) to Key West is one of the most scenic RV drives in America.

What kind of fuel mileage should I expect, and how much will gas cost?

Budgeting fuel is easier than you'd think. Most motorhome rentals in Pembroke Pines get between 8 and 14 miles per gallon, with Class B campervans on the higher end (16 to 20 MPG) and large Class A coaches on the lower end. Travel trailers don't burn fuel themselves, but your tow vehicle will use about 10 to 14 MPG. Florida regular gas typically runs $3.10 to $3.60 per gallon (check current averages on the AAA Fuel Gauge before your trip). For a 300-mile loop to the Keys and back in a Class C, expect roughly $90 to $120 in fuel. Pro tip: fuel up at Costco or Sam's Club off Pines Boulevard for the lowest prices in town.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Pembroke Pines?

Book early and you'll have your pick of the best sites. For peak season (December through April), reserve campgrounds 4 to 6 months ahead, especially for popular spots like C.B. Smith Park and T.Y. Park, which use the Broward County Parks reservation system. State parks like John Pennekamp Coral Reef in Key Largo and Bahia Honda further south release reservations 11 months in advance through ReserveAmerica's Florida State Parks portal, and the best waterfront sites are snapped up the moment they open. For summer and shoulder-season trips, 2 to 4 weeks is usually enough. Insider tip: midweek arrivals (Sunday through Tuesday) almost always have better availability and lower rates.

What are the local driving conditions like in and around Pembroke Pines?

You'll find driving here surprisingly manageable. Pembroke Pines sits on flat, sea-level terrain with wide multi-lane roads like Pines Boulevard, University Drive, and easy access to I-75 and the Florida Turnpike. The biggest watch-outs are rush-hour traffic on I-95 heading into Miami or Fort Lauderdale (avoid 7 to 9 AM and 4 to 6:30 PM), summer afternoon thunderstorms that pop up fast between June and September, and toll roads, most accept SunPass or rental transponders. Watch height clearance under the MacArthur and Julia Tuttle Causeways if heading to Miami Beach in a tall Class A. Pro tip: use Alligator Alley (I-75 west) for a calmer, scenic drive toward Naples or the Everglades.
