Our experience with Eugene’s RV was awesome!!! On another platform we had our original RV host cancel last minute which left us without an RV just days before our Labor Day plans. Booking on the RVezy platform was a cinch and Eugene was super responsive and confirmed us with very short notice! Eugene’s drop-off and hook up was perfect!!! Great floor plan, space, and amenities for our family of 5 for the long weekend. All linens and blankets were provided, pillows were decent, too (not super flat like some camping/travel pillows and not too firm like some hotels can be). Plenty of A/C outlets and USB chargers for recharging phones and nighttime use of the CPAP. Bathroom was fully stocked; including towels for shower. Water pressure was great in the shower and all toilet and sewage worked like a charm. The dining table easily fit four and the extra couch was great for everyone to spread out and sit. Setting the thermostat and vents took a little getting used to but all AC/heat, fans, etc. worked perfectly!! We enjoyed a cooler night’s sleep and would get the heat on in the mornings and within 5 minutes or so we were good to go for morning routines. Gas stovetop was very efficient and the kitchen area, too, was well stocked for cleaning and even included some seasonings! The RV as a whole was well maintained and clean and everything worked perfectly. We will definitely reach out to Eugene again for future RV rentals!

Host is accomadating & honest. This is my 2nd year renting from him. I have no complaints & I appreciate his service. We treat this camper as our own & leave it in the manner it was left to us. Mike dropped off, set up & tore down & retrieved at conclusion of our trip. Mike & his Wife are good people. I look forward to next year!

We had such a great experience renting from PJ! My wife, son, and I had an amazing camping trip. PJ went above and beyond—he delivered, set up, and picked up the RV for us, which made everything so easy. The RV was super clean and stocked with everything we needed: cooking supplies, chairs to relax in, cleaning essentials, and plenty of food storage. The bedding was fantastic as well—we were extremely comfortable the whole time. You can tell PJ really cares about making sure his guests have a great time. Great communication as well. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Selinsgrove, PA

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Selinsgrove?

An RV rental in Selinsgrove is one of the most budget-friendly ways to explore the Susquehanna River Valley. Travel trailers typically run $90 to $175 per night, Class C motorhomes range from $175 to $275, and larger Class A coaches usually fall between $250 and $400. Weekly bookings often unlock discounted nightly rates, and shoulder seasons (April to mid-May and September to October) deliver the best value. Pro tip: book early for the Selinsgrove Market Street Festival weekend in spring, when local inventory tightens fast.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Selinsgrove?

A regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Selinsgrove for the vast majority of rigs on RVezy. Pennsylvania only requires a Non-Commercial Class A or B license for RVs with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) over 26,001 pounds, which is well above most Class C motorhomes, campervans, and travel trailers you'll book here. RVezy approved drivers are generally 25 or older with a valid license, and ID verification happens right in the app. Visiting from abroad? Grab an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your home country before your trip and you're set to hit Routes 11 and 15.

What happens if I need to cancel my Selinsgrove RV booking?

Booking is low-risk. RVezy sets a clear cancellation policy that includes a money-back grace period right after you book, so you have breathing room to lock in plans for your Selinsgrove RV trip. Cancellation terms also account for how far out you are from your trip start date. Because RVezy (not individual hosts) manages the cancellation policy, every listing in Selinsgrove follows the same fair framework. Pro tip: book your dream rig now to secure peak weekends like the Selinsgrove Speedway National Open Sprint Car Weekend in September, knowing you have flexibility within the policy if plans change.

They'll level it, hook up water and power, and walk you through every system before handing over the keys. Delivery fees vary by distance, but most hosts charge a reasonable per-mile rate. When is the best time to take an RV trip to Selinsgrove?

Late May through mid-October is the sweet spot for an RV trip in Selinsgrove, with summer highs in the low to mid 80s and crisp fall days in the 60s and 70s. September and October are arguably the best: the Susquehanna River Valley turns red, orange, and gold, and bug pressure drops dramatically. Spring (April to early May) brings wildflowers and mild 60s weather, perfect for cheaper rates. Winters dip into the 20s with snow, so many private campgrounds close from November through March. Pro tip: book early September weekends well in advance, fall foliage and the Selinsgrove Speedway National Open both pull big crowds.

For Canada, message the host before booking, some allow cross-border trips and some don't, depending on their insurance. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental because insurance coverage doesn't extend there. What are the driving conditions like around Selinsgrove?

Driving an RV around Selinsgrove is refreshingly mellow compared to big-city RVing: you'll mostly travel on flat, four-lane sections of US Routes 11 and 15 along the Susquehanna River. Interstate 80 (about 30 miles north) and Interstate 81 (about 50 miles east) connect you to wider road trips. Watch for narrower two-lane stretches on PA Route 235 toward R.B. Winter State Park and tight historic downtowns in Lewisburg and Sunbury, both worth visiting in a smaller rig. Winter can bring snow and ice from December through February. Pro tip: avoid Routes 11/15 during Susquehanna University move-in weekend in late August, traffic backs up through town for hours.

Winter feature modern restrooms with flush toilets and warm showers, electric hookups at many sites, picnic tables, and fire rings, though sewer hookups are less common. Dump stations are available at most state parks. Pro tip: fill your fresh water tank before leaving the host's driveway if you're heading to a rustic site, then plan a mid-trip dump-station stop at a nearby state park, which is typically free for registered campers.
