We had a fantastic experience with Obi’s RV. It is a great RV, in excellent condition and really easy to drive and stay in. It is comfortable and spacious and Obi’s communication was excellent. Both he and his wife are lovely people and were incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole experience from booking through to return. I would highly recommend.

🌄 Our First RV Adventure—10 Days of Fun & Freedom! - This was our very first RV vacation, and while we were a little hesitant at first, Bill made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. He was incredibly helpful—available before, during, and even after our trip to answer questions and offer support. His thorough walkthrough before we hit the road gave us confidence, especially with tips on what to do in different situations. We took the RV for 10 days from South Florida to the mountains of Maryland, stopping at six different campgrounds and even plugging in at my sister’s and in-laws’ homes for a few nights. The RV had everything we needed and was in great shape—clean, well-equipped, and surprisingly easy to drive. We returned it with just a minor hubcap issue and no other problems, which felt like a blessing after such a big trip. We had an absolute blast and would highly recommend this RV to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and fun way to travel. Thanks again, Bill!

Far and away a better experience than we could have hoped for. Sassy was the PERFECT RV for us. Very clean, adequate space (2 adults and a dog), well stocked with useful items and just all around fantastic. We traveled from CT to West Virginia, the trip just wouldn't have been the same without such comfortable accommodations. The couple was informative and incredibly flexible and accommodating with our unique schedule. We truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. We're already beginning to plan our next trip with Sassy. Thanks so much!!

Hibiscus was amazing! It was nice and clean when we rented it and was fully stocked with everything you would need while camping dished, cookwares, silverware, and even chairs and an outdoor rug! Gary and his wife made sure that we would have a great trip. It was super easy to hook it up and the camp grounds. It drove great and was easier than expected and got even better gas mileage than we expected. I will most definitely be booking with Gary again in the future!

Absolutely, plenty of hosts offer a pet-friendly RV rental Broadlands VA travelers love. Use the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy to see only rigs that welcome your four-legged co-pilot. Loudoun County is genuinely dog-friendly: Beaverdam Reservoir trails, Claude Moore Park, and many Loudoun wineries allow leashed dogs on the patio. Message the host before booking to confirm pet details, and pack a collapsible water bowl since summer humidity in Northern Virginia can climb quickly.

What kind of fuel mileage should I expect, and how do I budget for gas?

Realistic expectations help you budget smart. A Class B campervan rental in Broadlands gets roughly 18 to 22 miles per gallon (MPG), Class C motorhomes get 8 to 12 MPG, large Class A rigs get 6 to 10 MPG, and a truck towing a travel trailer typically lands around 9 to 13 MPG. Northern Virginia gas prices generally run slightly above the national average. For a 300-mile weekend loop in a Class C, plan on roughly $90 to $130 in fuel depending on current prices. Fill up at Costco in Sterling or Wawa stations along Route 7, which are consistently among the most affordable in Loudoun County.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Broadlands?

Booking early makes your trip easier. For summer weekends and fall foliage season, popular spots like Bull Run Regional Park and Harpers Ferry KOA often fill up two to three months out. Virginia State Parks (including Sky Meadows) open reservations 11 months ahead through the official Virginia State Parks reservation system, and the best sites go fast for holiday weekends. National Park sites like Catoctin Mountain Park use Recreation.gov with a six-month rolling window. Midweek bookings are far easier to grab last minute. When you reserve your RV rental Virginia trip, lock in the campground the same day to avoid losing your preferred spot.

What are the roads like for driving an RV in and around Broadlands?

Broadlands is a planned community just off the Dulles Greenway (Route 267), making it surprisingly RV-friendly compared to denser parts of Northern Virginia. Local roads are wide and well maintained. Plan around D.C. metro rush hour (about 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. on weekdays) when I-66 and the Beltway (I-495) get congested. Heading west toward Shenandoah, Route 7 and Route 50 are scenic and manageable. Watch for low clearances under Washington D.C. parkways like the GW Parkway and Rock Creek Parkway, where commercial vehicles and RVs are restricted. Use a trucker GPS app like CoPilot or an RV-specific routing app to automatically avoid low bridges and parkways across the D.C. region.

What amenities do campgrounds near Broadlands typically offer?

Most campgrounds within an hour of Broadlands offer solid amenities for a comfortable trip. Expect electric (30/50 amp), water, and often sewer hookups at private parks like Harpers Ferry KOA and Cherry Hill Park in College Park, MD. Virginia State Parks like Sky Meadows offer electric and water with central dump stations. Bull Run Regional Park has hot showers, a seasonal water park, and dump stations. If you need to dump tanks between trips, many local campgrounds sell day-use dump passes for around $15 to $25. Top off freshwater before leaving the campground, and always carry a 25-foot sewer hose plus a water pressure regulator for variable hookups.

What's actually included inside the RV when I pick it up?

More than you'd expect. Most RVs on RVezy in Broadlands come ready to camp: a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink), bathroom with toilet and shower, sleeping for 4 to 8 people depending on size, climate control (AC and furnace), and seatbelted seating. Many hosts also include cookware, dishes, linens, outdoor chairs, and a propane setup. Generators, TVs, and Wi-Fi hotspots are common, especially in larger Class C and Class A rigs. Every listing has a detailed amenities list so you'll know exactly what's onboard before you book. If you need something specific like a portable crib, a bike rack, or extra bedding, message the host: most are happy to accommodate.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Broadlands,Virginia

What add-ons and pickup options should I know about before booking?

RVezy hosts in Broadlands offer a great mix of add-ons to customize your trip: generators (often $20 to $40 per day), portable BBQs, bike racks, kayak racks, camping chairs, bedding packages, and even kid gear like bunk rails. Delivery and setup is a top add-on, with fees typically based on mileage from the host's location. Pickup and dropoff are usually round-trip at the host's location, though some hosts in Loudoun County offer one-way delivery for an additional fee. Mileage policies vary by listing and are shown upfront. Bundle add-ons (such as generator plus delivery plus bedding) and ask the host if they can combine them for a small discount: many will.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Broadlands,Virginia

How does payment work, and what should I expect for the security deposit?

Payment is simple and secure through the RVezy platform: you pay your booking total online when you confirm, and every line item (nightly rate, fees, taxes, protection plan) is itemized before checkout. A refundable security deposit is held separately from your booking payment, with the amount varying by rig and protection plan you select. As long as the RV is returned in the same condition and within mileage and generator limits, the deposit is released back to you after the trip. Take date-stamped photos and a quick video of the interior, exterior, and odometer at both pickup and dropoff: it's the easiest way to ensure a smooth deposit return.

Day 2, head about 45 miles north to Harpers Ferry, WV for Civil War history and the Appalachian Trail.
