2022 East to West Travel Trailer
Diego was great!. Was my first time renting a traveling trailer and using the site. I was a little nervous to rent cause you dont know what will happen. I didnt calculate the correct size truck for the trailer. Diego was a problem solver and helped me solve my issue. He went out of his way to deliver the trailer to the campsite and pick it up when done. He did a lot more to accommodate the situation and went above and beyond to make this trip meaningful. I had two family members pass away last year, and extended family for the first time planned this camping trip together and it was very important we went and that I had a trailer for my family of 6. Diego made sure the trip went through and got the rental up there for us. Means a lot! I see why he is a super host and is just a great soul. Thanks Diego we will be renting from you again and again.

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Brigham City, UT?

RV rental in Brigham City is one of the more affordable ways to explore northern Utah. Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Brigham City, Utah?

A regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Brigham City for personal use. Utah only requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for single vehicles or combinations with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) over 26,001 pounds, which virtually no rental on RVezy approaches. Approved renters on RVezy are generally 25 or older with a valid license, and RVezy verifies your ID through the platform during booking, so there's no extra paperwork at pickup. Visiting from abroad? Bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside your home license and you're set for your Utah RV trip.

What if I need to cancel my Brigham City RV trip?

Booking is low-risk. RVezy, not the host, sets the cancellation policy, and every reservation includes a money-back grace period right after booking so you can lock in your dates with confidence. If plans shift, weather turns, or a wildfire closes a canyon, RVezy's policy outlines refund eligibility based on how far out you cancel, and the 24/7 support team helps walk you through it. Cancellation terms are handled at the platform level rather than displayed on individual listings, keeping things simple and consistent across every rent an RV in Brigham City booking.

You're spoiled for choice. Top picks for RV camping in Brigham City include Golden Spike RV Park (full hookups just off I-15 with shopping nearby), Brigham City/Perry South KOA Journey (big-rig friendly with pull-throughs and a pool), Mantua Reservoir area campgrounds about 5 miles east, Willard Bay State Park's North and South Marinas with 30/50-amp service along the Great Salt Lake, and Box Elder Campground in Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest for shaded creekside sites. When is the best time of year for an RV trip in Brigham City?

Late May through early October is prime time. Brigham City sits in a semi-arid climate where July highs average in the upper 80s and lows drop to a comfortable upper 50s, perfect for evenings around a campfire. June and September are the sweet spots: warm days in the mid-70s to low 80s, cool nights, and fewer crowds at Golden Spike and Bear Lake. Winter brings freezing temps (January averages roughly 20F to 35F) and significant snowfall, so if you want a winter RV camping Brigham City adventure, look for a host whose rig has heated tanks and a strong furnace, and plan to stay at a full-hookup park like Golden Spike RV.

I've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay?

You'll be fine. First time renting an RV in Brigham City? Every RVezy host gives a hands-on walkthrough at pickup covering leveling, slide-outs, propane, water systems, and dumping, and you'll leave with their phone number for questions on the road. Brigham City is one of the friendlier places to learn: I-15 is flat and straight, Main Street is wide, and you're not battling Salt Lake City traffic. Start small with a Class C motorhome or a campervan rental in Brigham City, and consider booking delivery for your first trip so you skip the driving entirely and start your adventure at the campsite.

What happens if something goes wrong on the road?

You're never stranded. Every RV rental in Brigham City booked through RVezy includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, covering common issues like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and towing. If a slide-out sticks at Willard Bay or the fridge stops cooling halfway up Logan Canyon, you have two layers of support: message your host directly (most respond fast since they know their rig best) and call the RVezy roadside line for dispatch. Save both numbers in your phone before pulling out of Brigham City and you'll roll with total peace of mind.

What should I budget for fuel on a Brigham City RV trip?

Fuel is usually the second-biggest line item, but it's predictable. Class C motorhomes near Brigham City typically get 8 to 12 MPG, Class B campervans 16 to 20 MPG, and a tow vehicle pulling a travel trailer roughly 9 to 13 MPG. Utah gas prices generally track close to the national average, and you'll find competitive pricing at the Maverik, Sinclair, and Flying J locations along I-15 in Brigham City and Perry. Top off in town before heading to Promontory or Bear Lake, where remote-area pumps charge a premium. A typical 4-night, 400-mile loop runs about $150 to $250 in fuel.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Brigham City?

Earlier is better, especially for summer. Utah State Parks like Willard Bay and Hyrum open reservations on a rolling 4-month window through stateparks.utah.gov, and popular sites fill within minutes for July and August weekends. National forest campgrounds in Box Elder Canyon book through Recreation.gov on a 6-month window. Private parks like Golden Spike RV Park and the Brigham City/Perry South KOA usually have more flexibility, sometimes available a week out. Weekday arrivals are far easier to snag, and many full-hookup sites near Brigham City open up Sunday night when weekenders head home.

What are local driving conditions like around Brigham City?

Driving an RV in Brigham City is genuinely easy. I-15 runs flat and wide right past town, Main Street has plenty of room for a 30-foot Class C, and traffic is light compared to Salt Lake City about 60 miles south. Two things to watch: gusty crosswinds along the Great Salt Lake stretch between Brigham City and Ogden (slow down if you see whitecaps on Willard Bay), and winter ice on US-89 climbing into Sardine Canyon toward Logan. Check current conditions on the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Traffic site before heading out, and avoid driving the canyons after dark in deer season (October through December).

What amenities and dump stations should I expect at Brigham City campgrounds?

You'll find solid infrastructure throughout the area. Most private parks near Brigham City (Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City/Perry South KOA) offer full hookups (water, sewer, 30/50-amp electric), Wi-Fi, laundry, and hot showers. State parks like Willard Bay provide water and electric with shared dump stations, while national forest campgrounds in Box Elder Canyon are typically dry camping with vault toilets and potable water spigots. Need a dump station only? Golden Spike RV Park and select truck stops along I-15 accept day-use dumping for a small fee. Always top off fresh water in town before heading into the canyon.

More than you'd think. A typical motorhome rental in Brigham City sleeps 4 to 8 across a queen bed, convertible dinette, and bunk or cab-over, with a full kitchen (3-burner stove, microwave, fridge/freezer), wet or dry bathroom with shower, roof AC, furnace, and seat-belted travel seats. Most Class C and Class A rigs include a generator for off-grid power, and many travel trailers add an outdoor kitchen and awning. Wi-Fi and TVs vary by listing, so filter for what matters to you. Hosts often include starter kits, leveling blocks, hoses, and camp chairs: check the listing's add-ons section.

Hosts make it easy to customize your trip. Pickup is usually at the host's home in or near Brigham City, Perry, Mantua, or Tremonton, with a 30 to 60 minute walkthrough where you'll test every system together. Use Instant Book listings if you want to confirm in seconds, or message the host first to ask about one-way trips, some hosts may accommodate them for an additional fee.
